Today would’ve been my mama’s 90th birthday. 🤍

I miss her every single day, but I cherish every memory we made during our time together on this earth. What I wouldn’t give for one more hug, one more conversation, one more celebration like this.

🍁🍂 Fall has officially arrived at the Anson home! 🍂🍁

Now, before you get too impressed with my decorating skills… 😂 my fall decor pretty much consists of my mom’s beautiful porcelain pumpkins!

And you know what? I absolutely LOVE them. ❤️ Not only do they remind me of her, but they’re perfect from October all the way through Thanksgiving! One and done! 🙌🎃

But seriously, there’s just something about FALL that makes my heart happy. The beautiful colors, the cozy feeling, the changing seasons, and all the wonderful holidays and opportunities to gather with family and friends that lie ahead.

And having a little piece of my mom here makes it all that much sweeter. ❤️

Here’s to slowing down, soaking up the season, and appreciating all the little things that make a house a HOME. 🍁🧡

My Salted Caramel Life Shake doesn’t arrive until THURSDAY and I’m already planning what I’m going to make with it! 🍂🤎😂

Of course, the first thing will be a good old-fashioned shake because I’ve been waiting ALL YEAR for this flavor to come back. But then… look at these recipes! 😋

Salted Caramel Banana Bread, an Iced Protein Latte, and Chocolate-Dipped Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Balls?! Yes, please. 🙋🏼‍♀️

I love finding delicious ways to add more protein to my day—and apparently fall flavors make it even more fun. 😂

What a great night. ❤️ Family dinner with Lily, Parker and Connor, plus Mark’s brothers Greg & Jeff and Karen joining us too!

And then my favorite part…taking my girlies to the park after dinner. 🥰 Watching them play, listening to their stories, and talking about what they’re learning at school, their friends, and all the little things that are important in their world right now.

I know how quickly these years go by, so I try to really be there for these moments—not rush them or take them for granted.

Their little voices, their silly faces, their excitement over the simplest things…these are the memories I want tucked away forever. ❤️

I love my walking pad. I love my air conditioning. And I’m certainly not giving up HGTV while I get my steps in. 😂

But on a beautiful early fall day like today…nothing beats getting outside.

The first trees beginning to show off their fall colors. 🍁
Kids playing at the park.
The water sparkling in the sunshine.
Beautiful homes dressed up for the season—some gorgeous, some a little spooky. 🎃👻
Flowers, pumpkins, crisp air and all the little signs that a new season is arriving.

As I walked today, I just kept thinking how incredibly grateful I am to live somewhere where all of this is right outside my door.

It’s so easy to hurry through our days and stop noticing the beauty in the ordinary. I never want to do that.

So today I walked a little slower, looked around a little more, and tried to take it ALL in. 🍂☀️

Salted Caramel is BACK for sweater weather! 🤎🍂

Rich caramel flavor, a hint of salt, and seriously one of the most delicious ways to get my daily protein. It honestly tastes like fall in a glass. 😋

Longevity isn’t built in a day. It’s built in the habits we come back to.

Vacation was wonderful. I rested, enjoyed the food and wine, soaked up the time with Mark…and I didn’t worry about missing a few workouts.

Because this is the beauty of building a habit. 💪🏻

You come home, put on your workout clothes, pick up the weights—and pick up right where you left off. No guilt. No “starting over.” Just back to the routine that has become part of how you live.

At 64, that’s what exercise is about for me. Not just how I look, but staying strong, moving well, protecting my independence and being able to keep doing all the things I love for as long as possible.

That’s longevity. And that’s the power of a habit. ❤️ by @bethellisrf

Still smiling after the most beautiful weekend celebrating a very special love story. 🤍

Hailey & Dan’s wedding in Napa was truly like a dream. 🍇✨ From the setting to the thoughtful touches, the heartfelt speeches, the laughter and the tears—it was so clear how deeply these two love one another and how loved they are by everyone around them.

And I couldn’t help but think about where so much of that begins.

Amy & Nick, you have given Grace & Hailey such a beautiful example of what love, marriage and family can look like. Mark and I have been blessed to witness your love and friendship through the years, and you are an example not only to your girls, but to all of us who are lucky enough to call you friends.

To be included in such an intimate and incredibly special weekend meant more to us than you know. We felt so honored to be there celebrating this beautiful new chapter with all of you.

Hailey & Dan, may the love we all witnessed this weekend only grow deeper with every year. Here’s to a lifetime of laughter, adventure, friendship and choosing each other again and again. 🤍
