Another night dressed up, showing up, and giving back! 🖤✨

The dress was black, but the purpose was GOLD! 💛

Grateful to serve as emcee for Be The Miracle, a Chicago nonprofit doing the work that matters—empowering our young people through mentorship, education, scholarships, and leadership opportunities while helping break the cycle of violence in our communities.

Because sometimes the miracle isn’t something you wait for… it’s something YOU become! 🙌🏾

Another charitable night, another beautiful reminder that using your gifts to give back will ALWAYS be in style! 💫

A special THANK YOU to Alejandra for donating her beautiful Chicago photography to our Changing Seasons, Changing Lives Gala silent auction!

Your artistry helped us raise funds to empower young people, strengthen communities, and continue creating opportunities that change lives.

We are grateful for your talent, your generosity, and your belief in our mission.

Today’s KingMakers session gave us one of those moments you can’t script. 👑

One of our young Kings stepped up, completely impromptu, and led the conversation himself. He helped his fellow Kings understand something that will follow them far beyond today:

You have to have a standard.

A standard for how you carry yourself.
A standard for what you accept.
A standard for how you treat people.
A standard for the man you’re becoming.

And THIS is why we do the work.

KingMakers isn’t just grown men talking to young men. It’s creating a space where young Kings find their own voices, challenge each other, lead each other and grow together.

Every Saturday. Virtually. 10 AM CST.
Middle school and high school aged young men.

If you want your son to be part of the village, DM us. 👑

Don’t wait on a Miracle. Be The Miracle.

Another organization choosing to Be The Miracle. 🙏🏾💚

A HUGE thank you to CareLumi for sponsoring our 2026 Changing Seasons • Changing Lives Gala!

CareLumi uses AI to take some of the red tape out of healthcare so the people responsible for patient safety can spend more time focused on what matters most: people.

And while they’re helping healthcare leaders focus on saving lives, their support helps us stay focused on changing lives and saving futures.

That’s what partnership with purpose looks like.

CareLumi, we appreciate you believing in the work and investing in our young people. 💚

Don’t wait on a Miracle. Be The Miracle.

🎟️ Tickets are available through September 26, 2026.

Every Saturday at 10 AM CST, we pour into the next generation through our KingMaker Mentoring Community. 👑

What started in Chicago now reaches beyond Chicago. Because KingMakers meets virtually, middle school and high school aged young men can join us from anywhere.

Real conversations. Positive Black male mentors. Connection. Accountability. Consistency. A community committed to helping our young men grow.

If you have a son or young man who could benefit, DM us. We’d love to welcome him to KingMakers.

Meet Myah. One of our 2026 Be The Miracle Scholars. 🎓

She showed up, worked hard, and never shrank herself for anybody’s comfort. Now she is headed to the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, carrying her community with her.

This is what the Brenda J. DeBois Scholarship is for. Not just tuition. A declaration: we see you, we believe in you, and we made sure the world would too.

Congratulations, Myah. Go build something beautiful.

Want to help fund the next scholar? Donate. Link in bio.

Don’t wait on a miracle. Be the miracle.
