Yesterday I completed the 26-mile @macmillancancer Mighty Hike from Alnwick to Bamburgh along THE BEST coastline in the UK (no debating this, soz) through sunshine, rain and hail (WTAF?!) with some of my oldest and closest friends. For more than a year now, I’ve been on back to back ghostwriting projects and have barely come up for air. Not complaining, I LOVE what I do, but this shoot and interview with @hjgflanagan (who is always a dream), was a gorgeous opportunity to return to my first love. It also meant a trip to London and a chance to catch up with some old faces on the shoot and over dinner. This week I spoke to @alibastianinsta about her stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 42. She described how the lump she discovered was initially thought to be a blocked duct from breastfeeding, her gruelling treatment plan and the changing relationship with her body and boobs.Thank you Ali for such a brave, thought-provoking and moving interview.
