I’ve been teaching yoga for 20 + years- join me on retreats & events that feel REAL.

POSTS STORIES REELS

20+ years in this Industry round the world from renegade off the grid communes, festivals; from Bali, Costa Rica and Hawaii … I’ve seen all kinds of yoga and spiritual communities.

usually, there’s a certain aesthetic and there’s a certain theme to all of them…

✨from that, we don’t shave our armpits and wear makeup, and we only eat papayas & organic coconuts, to we sweat our ass off in class and get wine and steak after, to we sing Kirtan and abstain from all intoxicants, to we only do “ high vibe” conscious altering substances, to we are one love polyamorous spiritually evolved club — really I’ve seen it all.

I can think of a few specific stories in the last 30 years of my spiritual yoga conquest that stand out to me as masterful.

1. My ex-husband and I spent some months in Malakai ( small Hawaiian island ) the woman who we were working for on her organic farm was a yoga teacher, one of the original ashtanga teachers from JOIS. She was basically living in Hawaii as a raw food vegan but several times a year she went up to the local farm and eat a burger. She told me that she straight up, followed her body when she needed it she knew.

2. In the morning of a medicine ceremony, the shaman cracked a Pepsi started talking to us about how nothing is inherently right or wrong or good or bad. We decide with our judgment, and then this becomes our truth.

3. Another time in Hawaii a couple in Kauai made millions growing tropical plants & spent their leisure time enjoying Hawaii - the husband told me having fun is the most spiritual UPLIFTING thing to do for the planet. Being HAPPY is top priority.

4. In Thailand snorkeling on a tiny island off the shore of Cambodia - our boating guides were 25. They had never left the small island even to go to the mainland. They told me it didn’t matter. They live a happy, blessed life. They’re grateful to meet people from all over the world to learn about the world and maybe one day they’ll go.

What I look for now in my friends, and in my teachers and others on the same path are those that are actively choosing love and working on owning their judgment, their shadow side, so they can live a blessed beautiful life.

This has been on my mind for the last year or so.

We are told that our marketing & our messaging is what sells but for in person wellness events I disagree. All those events do for me is make me a one time customer there’s really no reason to come back.

The wellness world is first and foremost about in- in person experience. Human connection, vulnerability and authenticity. These are pillars to our humanity these help us feel safe.

✨✨✨and yes, of course marketing is a strategy. I love that. We had a photographer for this event and we were able to get some footage. Thank you @candicelamarand_activation .

These platforms are already overloading our nervous system - but this / YOU NEED THAT/ Look at me here OR look what you missed …. Yeah I get it. This is a marketing strategy and it can work, but I don’t think that it’s what we’re supposed to be doing those of us in these leadership roles in wellness.

My business involves helping people feel good. It doesn’t feel good to me when you create more about the aesthetic than you do about the people that paid to come to the event.

This is just one type of topic that we deep dive into in my leadership training and I’ve decided next year to mentor three people throughout the year.

The reason is because in my smaller containers, there’s only so far we can go. I want to bring three people straight to the top with me.

You will get to present at the festival. We will get to see the behind scenes of how to put on a six figure event.

✨you will also get to be part of our untamed 2.0 mastermind - this is a VIP retreat/women’s mastermind weekend unlike any other. We’re gonna regulate your nervous system. I’ll help you implement True and body leadership business strategies to make your business soar ✨✨✨✨

✨If you’re interested in learning more and setting up a call reach out, we began the end of January❤️❄️

and tell me, do you buy into the FOMO? How does it feel for you? by @bethjamesyoga

❄️❄️Your Winter Retreat is here ❄️❄️

She’s extra special - this is because we are truly nourishing you at the root.
We know so many women have been carrying around their ancestors heaviness, generations of women’s pain .

So many of you are the constant caregiver, the good girl, the people pleaser- the woman that does everything for everyone else.

If you know my lingo, you are well aware that I say the body whispers until the body shouts. These retreats are a body prayer. This is an answer to stop racing and rushing and working so hard on doing all of the things yet still feeling so burnt out.

We are in a unique time right now - where we can heal our lineage - heal ourselves - and start living in our authentic truth.

The beautiful thing about doing this work on a retreat is arrive and let us truly hold you for the weekend. This is what we are looking so deeply forward too.

✨This is a luxurious retreat - we have a private chef that will be making our food based on human design. We will truly feel nourished.

✨We’re bringing in one of our dear friends to lead us on an incredible sound healing journey @maryellenwerstine

✨We have on site massage therapist too. @resonance.healing.arts -

✨We will have a lot of luxurious spaciousness in the retreat.
✨
This looks like -hiking out in the woods, enjoying the hot tub or the sauna outside -+ our zen room ( this was a crowd favorite at our retreat in September so we’re doing it again. We will be bringing you red light therapy and bio mats, essential oils, vibration plates and other goodies to have an introverted retreat zone).

The weekend will be a careful curation of opportunities for rest, as well as yoga & somatic healing, Embodiment workshops, human design, ancestral lineage meditation work - as well as play, sisterhood, sipping cacao by the fire and being unbelievably cozy in our Winter Cabin.

❄️Most likely you won’t wanna leave, but you will be so grateful that you came🙏

❄️ This is a special retreat meant to be small and intimate so we can pour wholeheartedly into you. We have three rooms left. ❄️💫

Lately I’ve been revisiting how to remain in my feminine energy as a business owner and let me tell you y’all it’s been working…

Bali - 2 rooms left -

Private coaching clients - 2 this week

New collab retreat coming in fall 2027 - no force all flow

Up north retreat with @nadia_elmagrabi Nourished at the root ( one room is already gone, and we haven’t even publicly shared).

Devoted Couples retreat with @the_bondfires - we instantly sold out the cabins but now we have one available Feb 13th

Sold out Harvest Fest - i’m already selling spots to the new Winter Mini fest Feb 6th ( link in bio ) without even sharing deets yet.

Now none of this has happened on accident. This has been years and decades of design. But at some point in our business, we get to lay down and take a nap in our business Should be able to still run for us.

I get to be at home with my husband and my kids and wait to answer emails and phone calls.

I get to curate incredible experiences and invite people that I know not only would benefit from them, but brings so much energy to the room and also let me tell you they gain a lot from these experiences ( what I mean by this is their business increases the women I’m around a powerhouses and we’re creating more wealth for all of us together).

it’s not some secret club I’m not telling you so you can think that I’m being Braggadocious because listen sister I’ve lived in scarcity and been a single mom and I had a really shitty broke ex-husband. If I can do it you can.😂😭🤔🤯

I’m investing in the most that I’ve ever paid for a coach this week and my energy is straight to the top👯👯👯👯👯👯

Fly with me ?! ✈️

✨✨Wake up here ✨~ imagine a fresh made latte journaling by the pool, listening to the birds, looking at the flowers and the 🌴s!!!

I am going back to the same place that I hosted last year and I’ve only done this one other time. It’s because this place is a 10 out of 10.🔥🔥🔥

This is more than a typical retreat. This is really a cultural immersion. This is my fourth time taking a group to this magical island and I would love to show you why.

This island changes you the people the culture, the way their religion is embodied here. It’s really beautiful to go to a place and immerse in the lifestyle. Everything here is so sensory - and last year we discovered the most incredible restaurants. One of them transported us in a bamboo elevator, following a series of bamboo bridges to a babbling Brook eating candlelight by a river. And this year, I’m adding to the list of epic places to another one overlooking the Rice Field on a cliff.

You can also come early and enjoy the Balinese biggest holiday of the year or stay late and come to the ocean with us after for an add on night.

I am happy to walk you through every step of the way I’ve traveled to Bali alone with two kids so if I can do it, you can too! I just sold another room so reach out with questions ~ I can pair you up with a travel buddy.

if I was gonna recommend one place to come on retreat with me, this would be my recommendation✈️✈️✈️✈️

Bali is calling 👯

I’ll never forget my first yoga mentors words as I shared my worries of being scared to teach.

Good - she said - this means you care, this means you will take this role seriously and keep aiming to get better.

You can be scared but still say YES! 🙌

You can not be sure if you’re ready .., I’ll say the first time you do a retreat you probably won’t be ready - but you will LEARN so much and grow if you care too from this experience.

Leadership training begins end of this month. We will help you feel ready in your body + we will prepare you for all the actual info you need to begin!

Questions / comments I am here!

Scared but doing it ready ✨✨✨

There’s a place in between in everything in life… it’s so easy in the wellness world to slip into not being “ well” - we can always dress up a 💩 .

I believe those that are offering truly healing, impactful powerful work deserve to make a good living serving others - and I have found that we don’t have to bang our head against the wall trying to make the appropriate Instagram post and selling ourselves short.

INSIDE this program we will uncover -

✨actual strategies into the business side of being a wellness entrepreneur that I have learned the hard way

✨the difference between simply “manifesting “ vs “attracting clients

✨hot seat practice - using the rest of the group as our testing ground for how it feels how it sounds how we can eloquently describe our experiences that we offer.

✨retreat roadmap

✨a 3 month container to help you anchor in your mission - more than just goal setting we use these three months to really feel what it’s like in your body.

✨real talk - i’m here to share what I’ve learned in the past 25 years in this industry. How I am still here 👯👯

NEW THIS ROUND- I have done this training a few times and each time I’m happy to share I’ve learned a lot so there are some incredible improvements this year, including two in person opportunities.

you can save $1000 if you sign up before September 1St ( sooooo today! 🌿🌿😻😻😻) .

We have something coming in September🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

@maryellenwerstine and I are beaming with excitement

Let me know if you wanna be on the waitlist first🙏👋✨ by @bethjamesyoga

I grew up camping, I grew up, walking in the woods playing, and wondering in the woods. Some of my favorite childhood memories include climbing the tree in the front yard of my home and talking to myself, imagining things and dreaming.

Hosting these gatherings, where as adults, we can find little snippets of the magic of nature and for me, the reminder of childhood has been some of the greatest joys I’ve had as an adult.

I think my favorite part about Saturday was just how everyone was outside around the fire laying in the sun, while the chickens walked around us, @sol_and_roots nourished us, @cosmicrootsferndale delighted us with kava and cacao, and we just got to BE together.

The full moon - the end of an era for Venus - the ultimate Harvest season 🍂🍂🍂.

I am grateful for everyone that participated that made the day what it was. Thank you @cay_jasmin @brandonisonbrand @metamorphosebreathwork @made_in_to_mother @shay__.__shay @the_bondfires @hbodesign @lauriematheny @alexisadams_integrativehealth @dorianna_michelle @elevating.earth @yogistoned @gwendolynsbotanica @liliviolet_fire @meet.bily @naturalviewmarket @the_holistic.human @goldenheartholistic @denmotherwild @chelseaiscominghome @oracle_goods for bringing your magical presence and gifts!

Thank you @indigogracespace for the perfect autumn setting and @symbioticamovementcollective for the evening of fire and play.

Mini fest winter addition is NEXT - Feb 6th ( there will be a few overnight options.💫😉).

so wherever you come from, I would love for you to join✨❤️

Thank you @kavathreads for the shirt - obsessed with your creations ✨
