POLYSCRAPS 25/4 I’ve been getting back into my gig photography recently, and what a better way to start than with the awe inspiring, kooky, jump and jivey polyscraps? This was such a fun gig! Can’t wait to capture them at MOT Unit 18. taken in Paper Dress Vintage by @bethmaisanders

DRAG. GENDER. BOB ROSS. I got to produce an incredible short profile on the extremely talented @bellefrog and create alongside my work-wifey @isabella.k.walton I’m very excited to announce that this short (long in the making) is finally finished and we are onto our festival run! Sitting in on Isabel’s interview was a really pivotal moment for me. It gave me the space to question my own gender and that it can be an exciting experience - instead of just daunting (trust me it still is!). This was also the first time I had worked with Bella, I got pulled into the shoot (gratefully!) and not only a working relationship but a gorgeous friendship blossomed from it! Needless to say, this project holds a lot of significance to me, and I am really grateful for it. And I can’t wait for y’all to see it 😉 Poster and photo: by me 😘 #dragking #bobross #femalefilmmaker by @bethmaisanders

I’M ON THE TELLY!!! In the first week of my new job I was asked to be in Ancestry’s ad for the Kings Coronation, you have to say yes to these things… It’s been bizarre not just seeing myself on the screen but being a part of the whole process, from production through to delivery. I chose to drop out of uni last year, after being diagnosed with ADHD, I had realised that university eduction couldn’t offer me the right support and learning - I just needed to do things myself. Over the last year I have spent my time in and out of freelancing jobs and working on projects with friends, which has been fantastic. I got to go to Greece and to Wales, and I got to meet a lot of incredible people that I’m sure I’ll know forever. And now my face is all over Westminster and Green Park tube stations! After that big life choice and amazing year, seeing myself in a mortar board having “graduated” reminded me again that I’d made the right decision. Look mum, I finally got to graduate! #adhd #freelance #neurodivergent #graduation #ancestry by @bethmaisanders
