It has been uncomfortable, outgrowing the life I had built for myself. It is scary to leave everything you know behind.

A New Chapter: The Italian Reno 🇮🇹🔑

Today we bought our own little piece of Italy, a new place to call home, our “Happy Place”

Why Italy? I can’t tell you why.

All we know is that it feels like home and it brings us a feeling of inner peace that we have been longing for, no matter how woo-woo and slightly loopy that shit sounds, it’s true.

So when we came across a pre-loved home called Villa Pace (Villa Peace), hidden away in the Umbrian hills, we had no other option but to throw everything we had into it.

Today we sat across from the previous owners son, and granddaughter, who shared a photo of her late grandmother sat in our soon to be house and when we signed the contract to our future Italian life, her son kissed his mother’s keys and handed them to us with love.

There’s no such thing as perfect, but this feels pretty damn close.

Andiamo, let’s go!!

Never feel stronger than when I’m surrounded by incredible women, in gorgeous places, living slowly with intention, and water bottles full of secret wine.
