The blood of Christ has set us free, but living free is a choice.Often times we allow shame and guilt to drive the car that freedom owns. When in reality, the Lord knew exactly who we were and what we had done. Yet he still called us. Freedom is our portion. Living freely is our inheritance not because of anything that we’ve done but because of our Savior who chose us before we could ever choose Him. Your past has not disqualified you from being used for God’s glory. You are seen, loved, and chosen. I challenge you to walk in that freedom fully and to live guilt and shame free. God doesn’t need our performance, he wants our intimacy.Our identity as children of God is found in who God says we are not what we can do. We live in a conditional world where our value is often dictated by what we can produce. God’s love is unconditional. Although some may be close (that’s the goal), His love is not comparable to what we experience on this earth.God loved us before the world taught us to perform to be loved. As a former college athlete this is something I’ve struggled with for a long time. But there is freedom in knowing, we are already loved and already chosen. God’s not checking your stats, he’s checking your heart 💕#galentines #loved #jesus by @bethxnygrace

Jesus is literally our mediator. We have what Job asked for. We need only to be still and let Jesus fight for us. 🌱Job 9:32-33“God is not a mortal like me, so I cannot argue with him or take him to trial.
