this is my CD cover project for my photoshop class that at first i ABSOLUTELY HATED. but let me tell you, i am not a digital art person and was always intimidated with photoshop. i had so many crash outs from learning in this class, however, i persevered and am super proud of how this turned out. with practice and never giving up, i think im getting the hang of it, thank you Jesus! by @betsyraine_

“A FOOL’S SENTIMENT” x acrylic on canvas est 2026
made on a magical night with friends and family, one for the books. a great sentiment of how one night left me in awe.

this one made me understand why painters sell their paintings at such a high cost because there’s so much sentimental value BEHIND the scenes that its hard to depart from. i’m unable to depart from this one … by @betsyraine_

was feeling hella discouraged and confined to the applause of others and depending on their opinion to validate if my art is “good enough” “cool enough” blah blah. its normal. its normal to lose yourself in pride, its easy to lose yourself in the applause of others. its all easy to lose yourself and lose focus on why you do what you do.

so the next day, i went to a couple museums, got lost for hours, no rushing.

got inspired by some paintings that blew me away and made me think, “i can do this.” i felt so seen by a specific artist i want to keep to myself right now

and MAN, it felt good to dip my entire hand in paint and rub aggressively on the canvas and draw the most ugliest thing i can possible. tip for you, make the ugliest thing you possibly can if you’re in a funk. majorly cathartic by @betsyraine_
