I’m taking a break! Out of office on! I’m back into sewing and won’t be making earrings again for a while. My Etsy Shop will also be taking a break. I might pop up again before Sep, but also might not reopen my shop after September. Will just see how the next few months goes. You’re the best Xxx by @bettybrightlights

THANK YOU! New Bettys, new Brooch Bar and Festive Cheer range made both our days at today’s @brisstyle Handmade Market in the Whale Mall, Southbank. So nice to meet lovely new faces and see familiar ones stop by.

Today’s top sellers were the statement coral studs (sold out! So not in pics but will be back soon), hungry caterpillar hoops and little Christmas tree with star dangles.

It took me 956 X longer to setup than I anticipated but really happy how it all came together in the end. I have a few things to do differently next time + creations I didn’t finish in time for today but luckily I’ll be back there again Saturday 20 December for the FINAL Market for the year! And perfectly timed for last minute ideas and pressures (to self included, I’m all for this myself).

Thank you THANK YOU to my amazingly talented and hilarious neighbour @stefanopolips for your company and joy and just being a delight in general. So much fun making with you too (last happy snap of my makerspace) ❤️ Hoping we’re together again next month!

Massive shoutout to my brilliant stall neighbours for keeping the vibes high @birdeeandstar @amymartinjewellery ✨

And let’s not forget my son — Head of Security and Defender of Danglies. 👮‍♂️ When whispers of sticky fingers spread, he sprung into action to protect everybody’s merch. No earrings went missing on his watch — 10/10 would hire again.

Seven years, hundreds of earrings, and countless conversations later — I’m still painting, still chatting, still collecting, still inspired by my community, and still wildly in love with this creative chaos. 💫
