It's me again, your "tamad magpromote" na author girlie. Just wanted to share these little overviews on what my books are about. I am a self-published author but I sometimes do a "publish on demand" setup with publishers.

Are you a Filipino self-published author like me? If yes, I am currently starting an initiative to have a community giveaway of books, especially those that are self-published, to support reading for the upcoming Buwan Ng Wika this August and of course, to have our books reach more readers and have a wider audience. Through this initiative, I am also hoping to promote self-published authors who deserve to have more exposure and have more opportunities as an author.

I still can't get over this week's high. The kind that would make you love life more and appreciate everything that life has in store.

I am very honored that the kind people at @thefilipinoshelf have given my latest book, Chaos Concerto Second Edition a second chance to be out in the world and be discovered by more people through their honest reviews and sharing of thoughts. It was a week of pure bliss and nervousness as I woke up excited to know what these beautiful souls would say about my little book of calm and chaos.

Life may not always be as beautiful as this breathtaking view but it will challenge you, it will make you feel alive and most importantly, it will help you realize your worth. If life is always beautiful, you will never know the value of pain, of frustrations, of disappointments, of getting your heart broken. And when you overcome all of them, you will know that you not just survived life, but also, you lived.

You may have not figured out everything in your life yet but you will get there-- in the perfect time, in the perfect place, when you are finally ready. Just hang in there and have a little more patience. It will all be worth it in the end. ✨ by @betweenlinesandverses

Many times in your life, you'll be challenged to choose between doing the right thing or doing what you feel is right. Seems the same, right? But it actually differs. Doing the right thing means doing what other people or the society expects you to do but doing what you feel is right is following what your heart tells you to do. It's a tough decision but how do you know if you made the right choice?

Simple, you made the right choice if you learned something from what you have chosen. Yes, your choice might not be the best at the time or it might not be what the situation calls for but when you are able to move on from it and own up to your mistake, then it is still the right choice.

Remember, learning is a continuous process. As long as you're alive, you have the chance to learn something. They say that experience is the best teacher but sometimes, it is "failure" too because you will never know what you are truly capable of unless you fail terribly at something and that failure led to you, discovering things you never knew about yourself.

At the end of it all, what matters is that you learned. Like the sun, you rose up, did what you have to do and then you set, when it's time to rest, bringing with you everything that you have learned for the day. 💕 by @betweenlinesandverses

Dreams do not go away. As long as you're alive, you are bound to dream endless dreams. So just dream, no matter how impossible they are and eventually, make a way to make them come true.

What is/was your dream? I used to dream of being a singer/songwriter, hence, the throwback picture from the first time I recorded a song I composed in a studio. 🎶 by @betweenlinesandverses

Ang solid ng Muli: An OPM Musical!! 🙌

When I heard that the people behind this musical are the same ones who were behind "Sa Wakas", I knew that I would really love it. And I definitely did! Grabe, walang dull moments. Ang galing ng bawat cast at ang gaganda ng mga kanta. My most favorite siguro is yung mga kanta. Kudos to the songwriters na gumawa ng mga kanta dito.

Hope that you could watch this masterpiece too! This was absolutely a splendid birthday gift for myself. 💕 taken in Maybank Performing Arts Theatre by @betweenlinesandverses

A haiku on overthinking. Here's "Ocean" from my Chaos Concerto Second Edition. ✨

How deep can your thoughts go? Have you ever felt like you are drowning from the ocean of thoughts that you've been having?

I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. Somewhere, someone is experiencing the same dilemma, feeling the same emotions and having the same kind of overthinking. But try to give it time. When you're finally ready to accept the things you cannot control, that's the time that overthinking will stop.

Give yourself some time to heal and recuperate, beautiful soul. 🙏
