🔱 ABSOLUTE THRESHOLD @ DIMENSIONAL NEXUS 🌀

A very special moment for Mythical Experience Records — our label owner, @absolute_threshold_ , played a full 2-hour set made entirely from the MER catalogue.

Years of releases, collaborations, artists and countless hours behind the scenes came together in one journey. 🖤

The weekend also delivered some incredible darkpsy, forest and underground psychedelic music, showcasing just how much powerful and original music continues to emerge from this side of the scene. 🇿🇦

Huge thanks to @betweenrealmsprod for inviting us to be part of their first official open-air event. It was an honour to experience it with you all. 🙏

Here are a couple moments from the set:

🎶 Reel 1:
ShroomZoom – Swampy Folk
Featured on Enchanted Symphony — the third V/A compilation compiled by Absolute Threshold.
🔱 Available now on Mythical Experience Records

🎶 Reels 2 & 3:
Knuubz - Zombie Ant Fungus
Featured on The Mythical Realm - the second V/A compilation compiled by Absolute Threshold.
🔱 Available now on Mythical Experience Records

🎶 Reel 4:
Dichotomy - Deluzional
Featured on Creaturez of The Paradox [EP]
🔱 Available now on Mythical Experience Records

SUBPSYD Aka Chaise is a regular in the scene and one of the @betweenrealmsprod OGs.

Running on nicotine and caffeine he brings an energy to the dfloor that most can’t resist. Weaving forest sets and full on atmosphere together he offers a unique sound when he’s not planning the odd bush doef.

Driven by a deep passion for immersive and transformative soundscapes, Yodatang explores the darker edges of psychedelic music through layered atmospheres, unconventional rhythms, and mind-altering textures. One of our Between Realm OGs, he deeply inspired by the shadowy side of the psy scene and the mysterious, often wordless interactions it evokes, his sound draws heavily from dark psy, forest, and experimental psytrance.. crafted to guide listeners into altered states of consciousness and introspective journeys. The aim is to dissolve boundaries and invite a deeper connection to the shadowy, mysterious side of the psychedelic experience.

Bob Ledingham, better know in the psy community as Adenozine, is a twister of tunes, a darkness in light and one of the hosts of Front Right. Always ready to throw down with high BPM carnage, he’ll be sure to keep the dancefloor warm and moveable while still keeping that high energy up.
Modulating frequencies has become second nature to this man, playing on a number of underground stages countrywide, we are stoked to have Adenozine grace our stage once again with pure hitech delight. This mans take on the faster genres of psy fit any and all requirements for a really good time so be sure to plan your night accordingly or you will be woken up from your tent and forced to put your jol jacket and tekkies on
