More tips than rules, but these 3 are worth knowing ⬇️ 1️⃣SIZE makes a big difference to the way your room proportions work If in doubt mark out your chosen rug size on the floor with tape before purchasing to check you’re happy 2️⃣MATERIAL is a big consideration too. What’s footfall like in the room you’re adding a rug too? How would you like your rug to feel underfoot? 3️⃣And is PATTERN or PLAIN the best option for your space? Now, we’re all for a bit of pattern clashing, but if that’s not your vibe think about how you’d like the room to feel. Which pieces in the space are your chosen focal points? If a new rug is on your pre-Christmas interiors wish list, you’ll want to take a look at our current FERM LIVING RUG OFFER! For a limited time only Enjoy 20% OFF SELECTED FERM LIVING RUGS, including all the beauties in this post As always, any questions just shout 🏡Sarah & the team at Beut . . . #DesignerRugs #RugTips #Rugs by @beutcouk

We’re seeing more & more of our lovely customers using wallpaper in their bathrooms & it looks INCREDIBLE! But there are a few things you need to consider.. 📍Good ventilation is key in any wallpapered room & the condition of the walls is super important to the way paper adheres to them 📍Water constantly splashing on your wallpaper won’t do it any favours at all. Consider papering above panelling or a tiled area to maintain the look & longevity of your paper 📍Some wallpaper manufacturers offer a vinyl base that they recommend for bathrooms. If that isn’t an option for the design you choose, a matt decorator’s varnish works too (we’d always recommend you test first to make sure you’re happy with the finish!) 🏡Here at Beut we’ve been selling wallpaper for many years & are delighted to be able to offer you thousands of amazing designs from some of the world’s most exciting brands We’ve complied our FREE ULTIMATE WALLPAPER GUIDE with you in mind if you’re new to the world of wallpaper or just want to know a little more about the possibilities Comment WALLPAPER below & we’ll send it your way! As always, any questions at all we’re here to help 🏡Sarah & the team at Beut . . . #Wallpaper #DesignerWallpaper #WallpaperTips by @beutcouk
We’ve been selling wallpaper for many years & are proud to stock thousands of amazing designs from some of the world’s most exciting brands! Here are 5 of our top wallpaper tips.. 1️⃣Always order a SAMPLE before you commit to full rolls. Lighting & what the design is sitting next to make a big difference to how the pattern & colours look. 2️⃣Measure EVERY wall before calculating how much paper you need (even if they look identical) & consider the pattern repeat too. Most good suppliers will take back unused rolls, so better to order too much than not enough. 3️⃣Wall PREP & using the correct paste are crucial to the finish of your wallpapered space. We always recommend using the manufacturer’s instructions as a guide. 4️⃣With the right knowledge, almost any room can have a wall covering, even bathrooms! Some manufacturers offer different finishes that work better in these spaces. 5️⃣If repeat patterns aren’t your thing, bespoke MURALS are a stunning way to decorate a room (more to come on this!) Planning a wallpaper project soon? Why not download our FREE Ultimate Wallpaper Guide. Based on a chair used on an African safari by an American cinematographer & his wife, the original SAFARI CHAIR by Carl Hansen & Son was possibly one of the first examples of self assembled furniture. The original featured glueless joints & an incredible construction that tightened the joint when someone was sitting in the chair to increase its stability. Crafted from white oiled ash & natural canvas with sturdy leather straps, the chair is a lightweight, portable piece that can be used both indoors & outdoors. This beautiful chair, complete with matching footstool is currently on our Outlet pages. We don’t think it’ll hang around for long, especially considering it’s 50% off price tag. Whilst we can’t guarantee you a safari, we can promise a comfortable spot in one of the most influential lounge chairs in design history! If you’d like any further info on this or any other item in our catalogue, we’re always here to help 🏡Sarah & the team at Beut . . . #DesignerFurniture #DesignerOutdoorFurniture #carlhansen #carlhansenandsøn by @beutcouk
One of the BEST things about what we do is seeing our lovely customers enjoying their new pieces.. So we were thrilled to see this beautiful Flos Taccia LED table lamp find its perfect home & even happier to hear the feedback. Designed by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962, this iconic dimmable lamp emits indirect & reflected light from it’s stunning, mouth blown diffuser. Thank you for choosing to shop with us at Beut. We can’t wait to light up your life again in the future! ✨ 🏡Sarah & the team at Beut . . . #DesignerLighting #LightingInspiration #Flos #FlosLighting by @beutcouk
