This is me at age 4. When I was age 14 & started high school, on the 1st day they made me write down what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to do everything & could not decide on one career in the 9th grade. I wrote Pediatrician, I loved my doctors, Vet, I loved animals, actress, I loved being the center of attention. I might have put artist, writer & model there too & Mother. I think I put nurse & school teacher too. I turned out to be an artist & writer because I was best at that & it came easy to me. I enjoyed creating things from scratch & using my imagination. Almost a lost art today with all the tablets & technology.

It was hard at first to be noticed for my writing, back in the 1990's, children & teens were not writers. I did not give up, I wrote for fun every night after school, trying to get some homework done too, while watching T.V. & having assorted Nabisco cookies & ice cream. I multi tasked before it was invented. Convincing my Dad I was a real writer was hard, I was always too young in his eyes. I am now a Real Published Author, my book "Mirror of My World," by Christian Karen Berman, it has 19 / 5 Star Reviews on Amazon, it has rare photo's of me growing up in all the chapters & the story that goes with the photo's.

What did this 4 year old want to be, a big sister, a Mommy & a singer & dancer. I'd sing the songs from the movie Annie & dance at my Daddy's Math Parties he told me. Mostly, I loved going to the playground, swimming & going places with my parents & I loved my Grandparents & all of my dolls & stuffed animals. I haven't changed that much, so if you'd like to read about my life, go to Amazon & buy my book, you won't want to put it down. ❤️💜💕 by @beverly.berman

Hi, I'm sorry about all the AI posts. I was asking Chat Gpt how to advertise my book & believe it or not, it was his idea. I'm trying to fit in society today & move along with the times.

I'm really not into AI, it makes things look fake. I don't like that, imagine some girl trying to sell an old school 1980's style book & asking a 2026 AI advice about how to do that. To keep it real, how would I have sold a book I wrote in 1989 lets say when I was old enough to write a book. I wrote one for the 5th grade & the year was 1989, it was about Punky Brewster of course. During reading class after recess, my teacher told us to take out our books to read, TRUE STORY, I took out my book she made us write. So my teacher said she'd read my book, if I read a real book, oh what book was I reading, "Ramona & her Mother" or something like that.

How would I sell a book back then, "I wrote a real book & it was so good a real publisher published it., Buy my book, read my book. I did it all by myself" Kinda silly.

Let me tell you about the real author behind the book. I love baby & reborn toddler dolls, stuffed animals, shopping, skateboarding, going to the playground. I wish I had a big family to really love me, my parents died many years ago. I wrote my book so I wouldn't forget them or the memories we made together. I put photo's in every chapter so everyone could see what a wonderful family I grew up in, full of love & adventures & toys. We were poor so we couldn't get all the toys I wished for, like a swing set & jungle gym & bunkbeds with a tent & a slide. But I did get the puppy I always wanted, I had to wait a good 10 years, but she was my little sister & I loved her so much, she was part of our family, so smart & gentle, she's in my book too.So if you read my book, you might get that warm fuzzy feeling, like when your sick & tell your parents & they put you in the big bed with them & fuss over you & take good care of you & spoil you until your better, it makes it not so bad to be sick, because you feel so loved. It's about all the holiday's & going to school & everyday life.Everyday was extra special then, even a 50 cent toy from the machine at the supermarket. by @beverly.berman

Hello to all the book lovers out there. I wanted to share something with you. Here are some of my book reviews from my new book, " Mirror of My World," by, Christian Karen Berman. Many names you might recognize or seem familiar, they are household names. They even love my book. When you shop this fall for some new books to read, I think you really will enjoy my book. It's like reading my personal diary & it never gets boring. It also has every subject matter you can imagine that kids deal with growing up & you feel like you are there, no memory was too small, it's all in there, things of childhood maybe you long forgot that will spark you to remember something about when you were a little kid like me. Toys, I had as a child, my first memories, going to the local Diner, Going to the Pediatricians office, the school bully, being a Tom Boy, a playdate with my best friend, going to the E.R., A Road Trip to the Nevele, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Grandma babysitting 2 little kids. Being admitted to the hospital & staying there for almost a week. Getting my 1st puppy, going into the city.

Just today, my brother bumped into my parents old friends in the supermarket, they bought my book, they were so impressed how well written it was, how heartfelt it was & the Mom couldn't put it down & couldn't wait to see what happened next. She said it draws you in & it's deep. My friend who read it said, you feel like you are there & my memories are vivid. Another friend said she doesn't like to read books, because in high school they made her read so many books, then she started reading mine, the beautiful photo's helped tell the story I was sharing & keep her attention, it was fun reading it, it read easy & didn't seem like work, it was hard for her to stop reading, she told me "you kids were always getting into some sort of mischief," it made her laugh & cry. She's starting to enjoy reading because it's more like watching a movie than reading a boring book. So, maybe you might enjoy reading my book too, it's funny, the photo's alone to look at are worth buying the book, no Al, no photoshop, just old photo's from the 1980's & 1990's. I enjoyed writing my book too. by @beverly.berman

I was an underdog, I had trouble making & keeping friends, relating to the other kids my age, trouble with the school work. It was hard being at school all day, I missed my Mom. I didn't really have any friends, I was so close to my parents, I never really felt the need to connect with others. I knew you were suppose to though, so I tried at age 6, I joined a game I wasn't invited to, because my Mom was at school that day & I didn't want her to think I didn't have any friends, she'd feel bad for me, be sad, upset, worried about me. I cared about her feelings more than my own, I loved her. 3 other 6 year old classmates were running with both arms out pretending to be an airplane, I didn't understand the game, I'm high functioning, so I just copied them, then one girl said, "you want to play with us too." So I did, but mostly for my Mom. Most day's I just played alone on the playground or tried to get in the secret clubhouse & be a normal mid 1980's child. In older grades I got bullied, because I dressed & looked like a little boy, it was just for fun to see what it was like to be a boy for a change, then a few years later I got bored with my short hair & dressing in boy clothes & became a girl again just before my 12th birthday. I looked more like 8 honestly. I was a happy, carefree child, a happy go lucky kid. I was never sad for long, I knew my parents loved me & I had what I needed, not spoiled at all, a few favorite toys, a little brother to play with, a T.V. set with my favorite T.V. shows, sometimes good food, what else could a little kid want. Most 1980's kid were not spoiled, some were, but we were poor & couldn't afford to spoil me, but it only made me appreciate the things I did have. Kids today get bored with their toys an hour after their parents buy them, unless it's an iPhone. In high school, I wasn't interested in friends my age, I liked going to Sears with my parents, out to the local Diner on the weekend, reading issues of Parents Magazine, looking at the Sears Wish Book, playing with my dolls. The few times classmates called me on the phone I felt shy to talk to them as a 15 year old. I wasn't interested in driving or dating. My book. by @beverly.berman

Hey Guy's, Here is another sample of my book, it's definitely worth the read. It will transport you to another time & place & take you right back to the good old 1980's for a happy visit. You will honestly feel like you are there. Now that the weather is starting to get cooler, it's the perfect time to start taking out those "Must Read" books to see if there's as good as you've heard. For those, "I just don't feel good today day's," I have a chapter to go with that feeling. For the Halloween is coming up soon, man, I sure miss those Halloween's I had as a kid, I have a chapter for that too. What about Thanksgiving, Yes, Christmas, Oh, Yes, Yes, Yes. I even have a chapter for, I am just bored out of my mind today, I have nothing to do. I have many exciting chapters for that I'm bored feeling, "Stuck on the School Bus," it sounds like a Lifetime Movie, but it's really true & happened to me & many more Chapters like those with surprise endings you'd never expect, like when my Grandma babysat me & my little brother Larry, you'll never guess what happened there.

Then that nostalgic longing, I have "A Poor Christmas." They're are Birthday Parties, Trips to the Emergency Room, Trips to Grandma's House, if you think it or felt it or lived it, I have a Chapter to relive it. So I just hope you really love reading my book because I wrote it for all of you to enjoy. Photo's in every chapter to keep it from getting boring & to help picture what you're reading about. It's a sweet, wholesome, old fashioned, loving, heartwarming, bumpy up & down, fun trip down memory lane & even though it's about my real life, it will make you remember your childhood better. Maybe a fad back in the 1980's when you were a little kid or an old toy you loved & had too, Memory Unlocked. Also, a photo album of me growing up with my whole family & you'll be able to tell the year from the old toys, clothes & styles of the 1980's & 1990's, especially if you were a baby, toddler, child, pre-teen & teenager of that era or had kids my age back then. Here's the links to buy my book, happy reading & happy fall. "Mirror of My World," by, Christian Karen Berman Find it on Amazon #1989, #autism, #author by @beverly.berman
