I get the WHOLE month to celebrate. Imagine your birthday being at the end of the month… like damn, you only get two days 😭😂 sucks for you.

And somehow my birthday festivities made it into October this year?! At this point, I don’t have a birthday… I have a birthday SEASON. 🥂✨♍️

It took me a while to share these photos. Life kept moving, and honestly, I haven’t felt much like posting since losing my dad. 🤍

This experience put so much into perspective for me. We spend so much of our lives working, achieving, and chasing things, but in the end, what truly matters is family, love, community, God, and the impact we leave on others.

Grief is complicated, and every relationship has its own story. But when it mattered, we showed up. We came together as a family, honored our dad, and gave him the beautiful and dignified farewell he deserved.

I’m forever grateful for everyone who showed up, prayed, supported us, and stood beside our family.

Hold your people close. Love them while you can. Show up. Make the memories. 🤍

We did right by you, Daddy. Rest peacefully. 🕊️.
