Today was truly an amazing experience volunteering alongside Rosie Hodge-Adams, founder of Children of the Caribbean. It was such a blessing to see the joy and excitement on the faces of the LAUSD families.

A special thank you to Children of the Caribbean for providing the backpacks and helping make this event so impactful for the children.

Thank you to Pay Away for hosting the 2026 Marathon of Giving Los Angeles Back-to-School Event on Saturday, July 25th. Everything was beautifully organized, and it truly made a difference in the community.

I am still smiling!! 😊

I give God ALL the glory for life, strength, and purpose! 🙌🏽✨

To all my friends and family—everyone who called, texted, inboxed me, and showed love on my birthday—thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Every message, every prayer, every word spoken over me was received in the spirit and truly treasured in my heart.

I don’t believe in coincidences—I believe in divine connection. God used each of you to pour into me, to affirm me, and to remind me that His hand is upon my life.

Now listen… I spent my birthday in bed sick—“sick like a dog!” That’s the only way to describe it. COVID didn’t take me out, and whatever was trying this time didn’t either! God’s mercy and grace covered and protected me. I could hardly breathe, but I refused to let anything defeat me.

For three days, I stayed covered in prayer—wearing my prayer shawl, anointing myself with oil, washing, and taking communion. I stayed committed and connected to my Father. The enemy tried… but God said NO.

So it truly meant even more to receive all the love, because you all know—I LOVE to celebrate! 🎉

I step into this new year with authority, covering, and expectation. I receive every blessing spoken over me, and I declare increase, favor, and overflow over my life.

And to each of you—I speak it back: may God multiply your kindness, restore anything lacking, and release unexpected blessings into your lives. What you poured into me, I declare it returns to you overflowing and without delay.

This is not just another year… this is a divinely aligned season. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Where did the years go!
Growing older!! Less hair, each year go by more gray 😩

Left the dye on for 40 minutes… and the front is STILL gray!! SMH!
Is it the dye or just my stubborn grays?

Should I just let it all go gray? 🤔

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

“Don’t despise the pressing — it’s what produces the oil.”

Olives are not useful until they are crushed.
The oil only comes after the pressure.

The trials we face are not punishment…
they are preparation.

The Most High refines His people the same way.
Affliction humbles us.
Hardship corrects us.
Correction brings wisdom.
And wisdom produces righteousness.

Our people have known pressure —
captivity, loss, struggle, rejection.
But the scriptures already told us:
through suffering, Israel would remember

The pressing is what wakes us up.
It teaches obedience.
It turns hearts back to His commandments.

Without the pressing,
there is no oil.
Without the oil,
there is no light.

And we were always meant to be the light.

So don’t run from the trials.
The Most High is producing something in you:
patience,
faith,
discipline,
and truth.

You are not being crushed to destroy you.
You are being pressed to anoint you.

All praises to the Most High.
