JG-you would’ve been 70 years old today. That’s a crazy thought. You were such a young free spirited outside of the box thinker who looked and acted like a 20 year old boy most of your life.

You were sly as a fox, but tenacious as a tiger. You saw the world as a game that you played where somehow you were always going to win and come out on top. The Irish ☘️ rebel in you ran as deep as the green blood that flowed through you.

You loved a good challenge and were always were up for going in the side door or back door if the front door was closed- as long as you were in-and one way or another you were gonna get in. It made you the incredible salesman you were- it made you the incredible trickster you were sitting in every best seat of every sporting event you never paid for. You just saw challenges as minor obstacles to be pushed to the side so that your skills would prevail in living your best life.

You saw the best in others and called it out of them. You believed in others so that they could believe in themselves. You lead with integrity, and yet made sure everybody on the team was having a blast and got a chance to score.

You could laugh at anything and found humor to be divine wisdom. You filled our lives with music and the soulful beat of Motown was your jam. Singing at the top of your lungs, making sure that everybody heard and saw you putting on the dance moves- with your pants hiked up to your nipples for us all to be amused by.

You could be with any person of any color and have them eating out of your hand as you loved winning people over by your charm and wit. You were the great relaxer and put everyone at ease. You included everyone at the table and invited us all to not see color but relax, lighten up and just have a good time with each other.

How much you deposited in all of us. Thanks for the fun run, JG. We’re all kinda struggling, trying to make it, but I hear those words from you every day in the back of my mind…. you be aw-ight😉

enjoy the heavenly birthday celebration….Where the lame will walk, the weak are made strong and love is made whole in the eternal reality. 💜 by @bevgorm
