EXCITING UPDATE: We're thrilled to announce that we're giving away two 3-day passes to Riot Fest, worth over $500! We've got two stacks of raffle tickets exclusively for our amazing social media fans. One stack is right here at the shop, and the other is at @nickysbeverly

Starting today until Thursday, swing by either location (or both!) once a day and ask for a raffle ticket at the counter. We'll announce the lucky winner on Thursday night on Nicky's patio. Remember, you can snag a ticket once per day from each spot!

@riot_fest is coming to the southside! Check out the lineup. Better yet, they asked the US to give away a pair of three-day passes...

How do you think we should give them away? Raffle? Scavenger hunt? In a geo cache in the sanitary canal? by @bevrecordschicago

By the time Rick(y) Nelson recorded Live at the Troubadour he hadn’t seen the hot 100 charts in over 8 years. Turning 30 in 1970 and with pop music's new sound he hoped this could springboard to a new career as a country rock artist.
The album features his outstanding rhythm guitar as he belts out Bob Dylan, Fats Domino, and tries out some of his new stuff which no one cared to hear (soon after he writes Garden Party based on this).
This album is often found in dollar bins since Rick still can’t shake that 50s teen idol image even after almost 40 years since his death. Best paired with a six pack of PBR taken in Beverly Records - Chicago by @bevrecordschicago
