🌿 Stumbling across Finnie’s Garden at səmiq̓wəʔelə (formerly Riverview)feels like finding a secret fort, except it’s an abandoned garden from 1951. Overgrown paths, old stone terraces, and hidden corners made for a little exploring. 🌱

And just when you think you’ve found the best part, there are the iconic old Riverview buildings, famous for their appearances in film(Deadpool) and TV. 🎬 Basically, a childhood adventure with a movie set thrown in.

Paint Brush Trail, Blackwall Peak. 🌧️⛰️ Apparently, my idea of a good time is heading up a mountain when the weather looks like it has a personal grudge. 😂 The bonus? Having the trail all to myself. Just me, my thoughts, and a little questionable decision-making. Wouldn’t have it any other way! 🌲🤍 First snowfall taken in Blackwall Peak by @bevyofbotanicals

Harvest Moon 🌕🌿
There’s something grounding about the season of harvest.
An epic night in the sky, and a beautiful one for those of us below. 🌕✨ taken in Cascade Lookout At Manning Park by @bevyofbotanicals

A little garden magic at my parents’ place. 🌿✨
There’s something pretty special about watching someone’s vision come to life—especially when it’s your family’s.

Dad laid every brick, built the fire pit, and embraced my suggestion for Canadian-made raised beds.

I’ve started calling this garden the Beauty of Chaos. When Dad pointed to a weed and said, “It’s pretty and the bees like it,” I knew exactly what he meant. 🐝

“I appreciate the organization of a formal garden, but I also appreciate the beauty of the chaos.”

Well said, Dad. ❤️

Wishing I’d inherited a little more of that garden zen. by @bevyofbotanicals

A day of honouring the New Moon:
📖 Alan Watts
🐎 A majestic horse for perspective
🔭 Setting up a telescope to practice patience
🌑 And finally… staring into the darkness like I totally knew what I was doing.
Cosmic alignment achieved. Patience… still loading. ✨ by @bevyofbotanicals

A little therapeutic horticulture in the absolutely gorgeous Cold Spring 🌿🌱—surrounded by trees, mountains, and enough natural beauty to restore the soul.
And then there was the book.

All 72 short stories of the worst book I’ve ever read. 😂

Nature was therapeutic.
The literature required intervention. And why, you might ask, did I read all 72? Excellent question. I’m still trying to figure that out! by @bevyofbotanicals
