But last week I had a rad day with Hiro and Makoto shooting the bike for the upcoming @mooneyesjp Yokohama HRCS December 7th I will have merch and posters of the bike available at my booth! Beware Choppers presents.. 🔥HOT HEAD🔥 a 1945 Harley Davidson EL 1960's drag inspired knucklehead chopper! Thank you @bornfreeshow for yet again the chance to show you what I can create with a little imagination and a lot of hard work. This year I wanted to go all out on the show side of things with no corners cut. Starting with the metal finishing, EVERYTHING was polished and chromed. From the grips to the cases down to the rims, nothing was left untouched. Everything that wasn't able to be dipped I molded and painted in multiple layers of Pearls and Kandys. This is the 3rd year I've built for Born Free in a row and this is by far my absolute favorite build. ‼️We'll, here it is..My 1950/60's era Panhead show bike "🧊Mr Kool Ice🧊 " Built in my home garage in San Francisco, CA. Og Pan frame with Bullneck knuckle front half shortened an inch. Narrowed hap Jones wassell tank filler cap flipped, double stacked wassell fenders almost everything on the bike was customized, in frame oil system, fully molded. Amazing 1950 motor and trans built by KIYO'S garage. 18x20 wheels, modified Indian girder, polycarbonate rocker and primary covers, fully molded chains, so much to list! Special thanks to @wolfaxewallace for the huge help on fab, KIYO'S garage for building the panhead motor and trans nicest motor I've ever owned , @spadegeorge48 for helping out lacing the 20" wheel @river.seat.company seat @vintagetechnologies welding up my chains @snkbld helping with the polycarbonate pieces @prismsupply_ for the throttle @samrwebber for the clutch pedal and many more thanks to you whether you made a part or gave me inspiration I appreciate you! Also big thanks to @large_hands_grant and @mikedavis70 for the invite and giving me the opportunity once again to build a bike for their show! " EL ROYALE " ‼️SOLD‼️ BEWARE choppers old paint original Wassell set on old molded wishbone frame makes up this 60's style build using a majority of the black parts I had squirreled away. 1950 Panhead motor with some chrome pieces, chrome case transmission, belt drive, 19/16 star hub set, Flanders bars, hand clutch, mouse trap, shaved 2" over chrome glide, upsweep pipes, @river.seat.company royal cobra, devil tail sissy, m74 linkert, cycle electric generator, new coil, plugs wires and wiring. Beware choppers presents " EL ROYALE " After getting home from Idaho last week I had this build in mind. Running this old paint 3 pc Wassell set for a 60's style build using a majority of the black parts I had squirreled away. 1950 Panhead motor with some chrome pieces, chrome case transmission, belt drive, 19/16 star hub set, Flanders bars, hand clutch, mouse trap, shaved 2" over chrome glide, @river.seat.company royal cobra, devil tail sissy, m74 linkert, cycle electric generator, new coil plugs wires and wiring.. this thing is built to ride. 1960 Panhead chopper I just finished up. Bought an old survivor for the perfectly molded blue frame because I knew that it would match the insane old tank that I found at a mid century furniture store on Valencia st, San Francisco a few years earlier. brought the bike down to the frame, added a 1960 Panhead motor and trans, @pooksparts 4 over lowers 6 over tubes servi car trees and Flanders pull backs, 16/19 wheel combo and a bunch of old chrome parts sprinkled in. Ripped it up to Idaho for the weekend put down 500 miles without one tool needed, thought about selling this one but after the weekend it might be a keeper 🤷🏽‍♂️ by @beware_choppers

On March 21st & 22nd at the @cherrycityclassic in Salem, Oregon, builder @beware_choppers took home the Best in Show Award with his 1945 Knucklehead Chopper, “Hot Head.”

Along with a $3,000 cash prize, Gary earned the first spot in the 2026 Final Verdict Motorcycle Show.
