£10

That’s the title not the price of the print….😂😂😂

My next image up…Not sure whether to do another Polymer Gravure or a Mokulito print. Might try both and see what happens.

Veratrum viride. My next Polymer photogravure print…..

I have been growing this plant for about eight years now, and every year I can’t resist taking dozens of pictures of it at various stages. This year it’s never looked better. So here I go again.

On the Way to Pushkar……..Early Morning in Rajasthan India.

Over forty years ago I discovered an Indian photographer and that discovery literally changed my life. That photographer was Raghu Rai. His work left such an impression on me that a few years later I knew I had to travel to India. The catalyst for such a decision was the death of my father, I needed to go and find my own spirituality and experience the world that Raghu had shown me from his work. Suffice to say it was an eye opening experience on many levels, and after that first visit I knew I had found what I was looking for.

Over the years India has given me so much. It is, for me, the existential experience. Certainly I would never have met my Soulmate and Wife Julia without it. So thank you Raghu Rai, you will remain one of the most important people in my life. I just wish I could have met you to shake your hand to tell you how much your work has meant to me over the years.

Rest In Peace Raghu Rai……
