1100+ Certified Assisters Ready to Help Enroll Residents Standing behind our tables with flyers and business cards are BeWell Certified Assisters, trained and ready to help New Mexicans shop for and enroll in health insurance for 2027. This year, BeWell certified more than 1,100 assisters to provide free, one on one support with navigating eligibility for Marketplace coverage, Medicaid, and Medicare. They’ll meet you for coffee, over Zoom, or at their local office to help guide you through the process of reviewing, comparing, and choosing plans on the BeWell Marketplace. And the best part? This past Saturday, the @dukestrackclub hosted the fifth annual Rise to Greatness Invitational, welcoming athletes from youth track clubs across Albuquerque, Jemez Pueblo, Acoma Pueblo, and Sandoval County to Bullhead Memorial Park. Rain or shine, families came together to cheer on their athletes, ages 8 to 18, in brisk 55-degree weather. The spirit of community and celebration filled the park. Families bundled up to stay warm, and siblings ran alongside the course, cheering as athletes crossed the finish line. Thank you, Dukes Track Club, for inviting BeWell to support such an inspirational event. We are proud to sponsor an opportunity that covered all 400+ participant registration fees, helping make this community event inclusive and accessible for every youth athlete. Two days. Five cities. Five events. Our outreach team hit the road this past weekend, connecting with residents in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, and Mescalero. We are incredibly proud of our team, dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping New Mexicans find reliable, affordable health insurance. They provide the assurance residents need, reminding everyone that BeWell is the place to go for free help navigating their health insurance options. We know every individual and family is unique. People come to us with a wide range of needs, whether it’s finding a plan that lets them keep their doctors, transitioning off Medicaid, or securing coverage after retirement. Our team has the answers, and we’re out in the community meeting New Mexicans where they are. Professional hockey is officially back in New Mexico! Congratulations to @nmgoatheads on an incredible, sold out inaugural opener at the Rio Rancho Events Center! Fans packed the stands, chanting “Let’s go Goatheads!” and showing instant love for our new hometown team. As the Colorado Avalanche–affiliated ECHL squad gears up for a full season through April, BeWell is proud to be one of its first sponsors—celebrating hockey across 36 home games! On Saturday, October 17, more than 150 participants, volunteers, and partners came together in Albuquerque for the third annual “So Everybody Can Move, New Mexico Mobility Day.” This event was organized by internationally ranked para triathlete, social impact leader, and BeWell brand ambassador, @kylestepp. It brought together individuals with limb loss and limb differences to experience engaging adaptive activities like running and walking with blades, swimming, cross-training, including yoga. Not only a great way for participants to experience the freedom of mobility, the event also celebrates monumental legislation like House Bill 131, that recognizes prosthetic and orthotics care for physical activity and well being as medically necessary. In fact, since 2023 Kyle’s advocacy has helped enact legislation across the country that expands coverage for Complex Rehabilitation Technology, including activity-specific mobility devices for wheelchair users. BeWell kicked off the morning by fueling participants with breakfast burritos! Huge kudos to @goldenpridenm for making 150 burritos for a gathering that means so much to the limb loss community. @soeverybodycanmove by @bewell_official
