This is me aged nine, an alien.

I’m now 42 and not a lot has changed. Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to discover other aliens to talk to and create with, so that’s nice.

I very lucky to have parents that nurtured my creativity and weirdness, made up silly games and stories, and put a lot of Red Dwarf on the tele. The seeds of what I do now were very much planted back then. I don’t take that for granted.

…They also made this totally awesome costume, and yes the eyes are ping pong balls and the hands are rubber gloves.
