As a little kid, I watched your first steps at Lech Poznań without realizing I was watching one of the greatest players the football world would ever see.

As a Polish supporter, you always fascinated me. Seeing a Polish player dominate at the very highest level, break records, and belong to the absolute world elite for so many years… that was something special. For an entire generation of Poles, you were more than just a striker, you were pride, inspiration, and motivation for Polish kids.

From your dominance and records in the Bundesliga to your arrival at a broken FC Barcelona, a club that had lost its identity, searching for hope, leadership, and belief.

With goals, mentality, and class, you made Barcelona great again. You brought back the pride, the belief, and the hunger. You leave the club where it belongs: at the top of world football.
