Most people know me as the guy with the camera.

But the more I grow Beyond the Focus Indy, the more I realize the camera is just the tool.

What really excites me is helping people, organizations, and businesses build trust, tell their story, and grow.

When your mother-in-law says she needs some new branding photos… you make sure the whole team shows up. 😂🔥

I wanted a beach.

My wife wanted Disney.

Guess where we went for our anniversary. 😂😂😂

Day 1: fresh off the plane, running on about 3 hours of sleep, and somehow knocking out Animal Kingdom AND Hollywood Studios. 🫠

I thought this was pretty cool. 👀✈️

On our anniversary trip to Orlando, I finally got to capture my TSA PreCheck’s new Touchless ID experience.

No pulling out my wallet.
No showing my ID.
No scanning a boarding pass.

Just looked at the camera…

“Alright, you’re all set.”

The whole process took seconds.

12 years. ❤️

I had every intention of spending this anniversary on a beach… 🌴

But if you know Shanniese, you know nothing gets booked without ALL the research. 😂

So somehow… we ended up at Universal and Disney instead. 💀🤣 (Express Passes, of course. 🙌🏾)

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Happy Anniversary, my love. Thanks for making every adventure, even the unplanned ones, the best ones.

“We’re only taking one photo today.”

….The biggest lie in our relationship. 😂📸

@beatsbyshanniese walked into the studio convinced this was going to be a quick birthday picture.

If you know us, you already know how that went 😂

One photo turned into an hour of creating, laughing, and me getting to do one of my favorite things… photograph my wife 📸.

Truth is, a big part of why I fell in love with photography started with documenting her work as a makeup artist. Long before the corporate productions and client projects, it was just us creating together.

Wishing another Happy 38th Birthday to my favorite person. ❤️
