Ahhh, the beach! ☀️🌊💕

So happy to get down to the beach today, soak in some sunshine, and breathe in that wonderful ocean air!

I’m 2 1/2 weeks post-surgery, and just getting out of the house and being somewhere I love felt SO good!

I wasn’t quite up for a walk along the beach just yet…but it’s coming! 🙌

Today I was perfectly content watching the surfers catch their waves, kids playing in the sand, and just taking it all in.

It’s funny how quickly life can change your perspective.

Something as simple as taking a walk on the beach, something I’ve done countless times without giving it a second thought, suddenly feels like such a gift.

We don’t always realize how much freedom there is in the little things until we can’t do them quite so easily.

And while I’m looking forward to getting back to all the things I love, I’m learning to appreciate where I am TODAY.

Healing takes time. Patience isn’t always my strong suit! 🤪 But gratitude sure helps.

Today wasn’t about what I couldn’t do. It was about what I COULD do.

And today, that was enough. ❤️

Here’s to sunshine, ocean air, healing, and never taking those little everyday freedoms for granted. 🌊☀️💕

After getting to meet & listen to the creator & CEO of The Super Patches, my girl Patrice & I pulled my grandmas twin sister to the back of the conference room to do a balance test on her. You can’t hear it well in the video, but Frannie says “I’m gunna prove you wrong” as she sets up for the test. I said the same thing when I did my test, because it’s hard to fully believe it until you FEEL it. You can watch all the videos of others doing it, but when you actually FEEL it first hand, it’s mind blowing. After watching his wife do it, Grandpa Tom wanted in on the action. You can see he’s very strong and balanced laterally, but not as much vertically. I love how he double checks with me that I am pulling/pushing the same way every time. I know it’s so much easier to think it’s simply how I am placing my feet or pulling on him that is making that difference. But I assured him that each and every time, I am doing it the same. VTT can be hard to understand, but once you feel it for yourself, it’s truly mind blowing! by @beyond_mom

I finally got to do a balance test with Grandma Suzanne & it did not disappoint. There’s something super special about watching someone discover this technology actually works first hand. You can easily watch a video of someone else and still be skeptical. Right before I started the video she jokingly says “It’s not going to work on me”. Which is exactly what I thought the first time I did it. But then you experience it for yourself…& it really DOES work. Instantly. That’s the power of VTT and these patches 💃🏽 by @beyond_mom

Today didn’t turn out quite like I hoped.

I’ve been going through some health challenges lately, and if there’s one thing that will make you appreciate feeling good…it’s NOT feeling good. ❤️

There are the symptoms themselves, of course. But then there’s the not knowing. The appointments. Insurance. Testing. Treatments. Waiting for answers.

It can be a lot.

So today, while I work through all of that, I’m leaning into the things I can do to support myself.

My Patch Stack today:

✨ Liberty — because when I’m feeling “off,” I want to support balance and overall well-being.

✨ Peace — because uncertainty can bring plenty of stress and anxious feelings with it, and staying calm feels especially important right now.

✨ Defend — for some extra wellness support, especially while I’m spending time in doctors’ offices, labs and all those places I’d rather not be. 😉

And one of the things I appreciate most about these patches right now?

They’re drug-free and ingredient-free. Nothing to swallow. Just another simple tool I can use alongside the care I’m receiving.

Today wasn’t the day I had planned.

But today I’m grateful.

My faith is in God. 🙏
I’m grateful for my body and its incredible ability to keep fighting for me.

And I’m grateful for every single day I get to wake up and feel GOOD.

Because wow…we really do take that for granted sometimes.

Got away for a little beach time yesterday, and it was GORGEOUS! ☀️🌊 Maybe 80 degrees…and we found parking with NO problem! 🙌😂

Today the temps climbed even higher, and it got me thinking about that classic ’70s anthem “School’s Out.” 🎸

Remember when that song was blasted from every car stereo on the last day of school as we all drove away?

Well… I’ve remixed it in my head. 🤪

For those of us who aren’t in school and don’t have kids in school anymore, I think we need our own end-of-summer anthem:

🎶 SCHOOL’S IN FOR SUMMER! 🎶 😂🙌

The parking lots are clear.
The weather is heating up.
And the beach is quiet once again. ☀️⛱️🌊

This just might be OUR time of year! 😃
