We’re so excited to announce that thanks to funding secured by Bright Path, we have a number of FULLY FUNDED Mini Medics workshops available for schools across:

📍 Wolverhampton
📍 Dudley
📍 South Staffordshire

⛑️ PERFECT FOR YEARS 5–8!

Our fun, interactive and age-appropriate workshops introduce children to essential first aid and life-saving skills, including:

❤️ CPR
🩹 What to do if someone is bleeding
😮 What to do if someone is choking
📞 How and when to call for help
💪 Building confidence to act in an emergency

It’s about so much more than first aid. We’re giving young people practical life skills, building confidence and helping them realise that even small hands can save lives! ❤️

Another 90 Halloween craft kits are packed and ready to make their way to the Children’s Ward at Russells Hall Hospital!🎃🕷️🕸️

Through our Creative Comforts project at Bright Path CIC, we’re helping to bring a little creativity, distraction and happiness to children spending time in hospital this Halloween!

Because when you’re stuck in a hospital bed, sometimes something as simple as making a Halloween decoration can make a big difference.🧡

Every kit is another opportunity for a child to get creative, have some fun and enjoy a little bit of normality during what can be a really difficult time.

We’re so proud to keep this project growing, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us so far.

We’re now up to 430 craft kits delivered since the start of this project! We’re have the best feedback from the staff and the play leader and really want to make this a regular thing!

We’re already planning Christmas!

Today we delivered another 85 ready made craft kits to Russell’s Hall Children’s Ward!

We are so close to covering the whole of Halloween PLUS an in person, interactive workshop!🌟

We are unbelievably grateful to everyone who has donated, bought something from the Amazon Gift List, bought a raffle ticket or shared a post - it made a huge difference to so many kids!

Boredom in hospital isn’t just about having nothing to do.

For a child, hours spent away from home, friends, school and their normal routine is more than just being bored.

A creative activity gives them something else to focus on — a distraction, a sense of achievement and sometimes, just something nice to look forward to.

It’s more than just a craft kit🌟

The next batch of craft packs are all ready to make their way to the children’s ward at Russells Hall Hospital! 🏥✨

For children spending time in hospital, the days are long, especially when they’re unable to leave their beds or access the playroom. They miss their friends, miss their hobbies and are missing the start of their new school year!

These little packs are about so much more than keeping busy.

They’re a distraction from the next scan or the next procedure, something to pass some time during the hours of boredom, something parents can do with their child during a stressful time!

There’s over 60 craft packs here ready to go straight to the Children’s Ward - they can be done at the bedside, or in the playroom, no glue, scissors or equipment needed, they include everything they need!

We have a huge raffle running to win the 2026 @thewhitecompany Advent Calendar containing £334 worth of products and it’s just £5 a ticket! We’re hoping this will fund all crafts kits for October and Halloween🎃 See earlier post and the link is in the bio! These children won’t be out trick or treating, they won’t be going to Halloween discos or dressing up! A craft pack is nothing compared to what we all get up to for Halloween!

I’m absolutely overwhelmed with the generosity, and the amount of crafts delivered today!

Thank you soooo much!! It’s 11pm and I’m still putting the kits together🥹

I’ll see how many dinosaur and Halloween I can get out of this delivery and then we may have to work towards Christmas theme sooner than we think🥹

THANK YOU does not seem enough🙏

I’ve had the loveliest messages from the hospital, parents and moms who’ve been there with a child in hospital and appreciate how much this would have helped!

At least another 100 kits will be delivered in the next couple of days!

I’m off to bed with a full heart, a few paper cuts and a bad back😅

WOW!!

I can’t believe the support for this idea!!

What started with me taking a few crafts to the ward while I was visiting my Mom has turned into a full scale fundraiser and hopefully regular workshops🥹

I cannot thank you enough - between us we have brightened the days of many children who have missed out on starting a new school year, seeing their friends and just being a normal kid!!

The ward theme this month is “dinosaurs” and then Halloween so I’ll update the gift list to suit🦖
