Every Beyond Labels workshop reminds me why this mission means so much to me.🤍Thank you to those who participated and showed up! Together, we explored the impact labels can have, talked about anti bullying, completed a reflection activity, colored Beyond Labels worksheets, and read CeCe the Brave. Every conversation brings us one step closer to creating a community where people are seen for who they are—not the labels placed on them. I can’t wait for the next workshop! 💗

Growth often begins with a single idea.

When I first created Buddies Not Bullies, my mission was to encourage kindness, build confidence, and help others stand up against bullying. As I met more students and listened to their stories, I realized that bullying is often just the symptom of something deeper—the labels, assumptions, and stereotypes we place on one another.

That’s why Buddies Not Bullies has grown into Beyond Labels.

Beyond Labels expands that mission by encouraging people to look beyond wrong impressions, replace assumptions with understanding, and recognize the value in every individual. My hope is to create conversations that inspire empathy, celebrate authenticity, and remind every person that they are so much more than any label placed on them.

This is the next chapter of my advocacy, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed. I still believe kindness has the power to transform lives—I just believe it begins by truly seeing one another.

Because at the end of the day, your worth is never defined by a label. 🤍

Today was a day full of joy, blessings, and smiles. The biggest thank you to @pacer_nbpc for partnering with Beyond lables today. I handed out informational flyers from Pacers in NYC that educated others on bullying and had recourse links as well as guides. On each flyer I wrote my two favorite qoutes at the bottom. “Embrace what makes you unique” and “Sprinkle kindness like confetti” these qoutes have truly made an immense impact on my life and my hope is that it can impact the lives of these children as well. While I loved talking to the children and there family’s about my passion for anti-bullying and seeing beyond the labels placed on them. I have to say my favorite part was placing the crown on these little girls heads. Because I was once that little girl. I told them to dream big and always believe in themselves, they are special and one of kind. Seeing how excited they were truly warmed my heart. Little Steph would be so happy to know about what she’s doing and the impact she’s having on the younger generation, she honestly wouldn’t even think her life is real right now. Every time I speak to these people I hope it’s god speaking through me. Today was an AMAZING day🩷

“Sprinkle kindness like confetti” is a quote i remember hearing in gym class when i was in elementary school and it had stuck with me ever since. As a kid I loved confetti as most kids do! If it’s so easy to sprinkle confetti why isn’t it as easy to be kind? Experiencing bullying at a young age this is a question I would ask my self daily. And although now this is one of my favorite qoutes and one I like to share with all the kids I interact with, I never want them to have the same question I once had. I want them to take away so much more from this beautiful quote. It’s not hard to be kind, it’s a lovely thing to do. You truely never know how far a small act of kindness can go. Never be the reason someone goes home feeling upset or discouraged. Bullying is a serious topic and that’s why I took my pain and experiences and turned it into something beautiful🤍 by @beyondlables__

Huge thank you to the Hackettstown Public Library for letting me hosting a “buddies not bullies” workshop today! I had the most amazing time with the kids teaching them all about bullying and what do if unfortunately bullied. We also learned that it’s super important to speak up for your self and remember your worth. After the presentation the kids got work on worksheets figuring out what was bullying and what wasn’t.(They had SO much fun with the colored pencils!) once the kids were finished and we reviewed the worksheets. I got to read my book “CeCe the Brave” which we sent each kid home with a copy! I seriously had the BEST time with these kids and teaching them about something that is so close to my heart is extremely special. Just knowing that I’m helping prevent the issue that made me loose my self worth growing up is so so special to me. Thank you to the kids and there parents for coming I hope everyone had a great time. I look forward to working with the library more in the near future🤍

In the second episode of “Empower Hour With Stephanie” the topic of bullying is discussed. Bullying is something that I have struggled with and something everyone experiences in there life time. There’s so many different ways of getting bullied. With my past experience it really affected my mental and health and brought down my self esteem. In this episode I share my experience and ways to help everyone get through bullying or what to do if being bullied. I also share my advocacy for it and the work I have done to support anti bullying, including my children’s book “CeCe the Brave” and workshop “Buddies not Bullies” This topic is something that is very close to my heart and it is my passion to help the younger generation understand what bullying is and teach them to be kind to one another! by @beyondlables__
