Exactly 10 years ago, the devil had a failed attempt over my life.

On the 30th of September 2026, I was finally leaving Ghana for Nigeria by road.
Prior to this time, I was consistently seeking the face of the Lord as a young boy and practicing the keyboard at Foursquare Gospel Church Agona Swedru and i couldn’t explain what was happening.

One of those days, I felt so compelled to start a music training once i returned to Nigeria and the instruction was to “win souls through music. I didn’t know how or where to start from.

I told a brother of mine (Enoch- Appino) in Ghana to do a design for me in this regard of which I posted. He just started learning graphic designing at the time.

Specially grateful to God for the gift of Emmanuel who was a graphic designer at the time and was also into printing. He took up the cost of designing and printing and did everything for me for free and posted around Ajegunle (Nigeria). I didn’t pay a dime. All this happened while I was still in Ghana.

After my examination in Ghana, the training was to start on the 1st of October 2016 which was a Saturday but something strange happened on the 30th of September 2016.

On this fateful day, the 30th of September 2016, i was traveling by road with a trusted company and at several points in the bush our bus broke down at strange places, bushes everywhere and not once.
We slept in the car on the express (with bushes) until God took control and they sent another bus to convey us. It wasn’t this easy and simple, it was a scary scene coupled with the fact that this was my first time travelling alone.

My dad was already waiting in the terminal hoping that his son would come that very night but to no avail. I don’t know if he slept there that night or not. I know for sure my mom would not sleep that night.

Most times, we don’t know how important we are to God’s agenda, how the Lord has forged us as a mighty weapon of war to his Glory and how mighty a terror we are to the devil. I had no idea what God wanted to do with my coming back to Nigeria but the devil knew it. Just like Jesus, they saw his star and the potentials and wanted to put off his light. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
