POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

______________________

This book is where dreams come true.

I started this book with so much anticipation, and it’s the only one (in this series) I’ve ever reread. It’s nothing short of beautiful and one of my all-time favorite books to imagine.

At the end of the first book, you’re holding out for Feyre to find peace and joy. You want her to experience the love and family she’s never had. You want her to feel appreciated for everything she endured in ACOTAR and to reconnect with the glimmer she first found in Prythian. But Prythian feels different now. There’s a side to it that she saw Under the Mountain, and it isn’t all that beautiful. The manor feels off, and the life she fought for might actually be her undoing. But trust me when I say, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for Feyre, and it’s EXHILARATING to read.

All I’ll say is, you’ll finally start to see the bigger picture, and it’s nothing short of ARTWORK.

This book is why we trudged through the mud of ACOTAR, and it’s why you absolutely need to read this series!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
______________________

The start to it all.

Reading this book can be quite a challenge; it feels as if you’re being dragged through the mud. Truly. I had to push myself to continue even after ten chapters, which is unusual for me as I usually get hooked way before then. However, there’s a reason for this difficulty. A Court of Thorns and Roses presents a deeply valiant, devastating, and beautiful story. Feyre Archeron, the main character, is incredibly brave and her journey, will draw you in despite the initial struggle. The world-building of fae might seem overwhelming at first, but the beauty of the world is something you earn through understanding its flaws.

Ultimately, if there’s one thing to motivate you to read this book, let it be this: it marks the beginning of a glorious love story, an epic and heart-wrenching war, and a series filled with remarkable artistry. Keep trudging through that mud- it’s worth it.

Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros
_______________________

This book had my head on a ~swivel.~ It is the second book in Yarros’ Empyrian series and I could not be more READY for the 3rd novel. I have never been into fantasy reads and this series has completely changed me. It satisfies every desire for a book lover!!!

There were (and still are) so many things I hope for Violet Sorrengail. I have the world’s biggest soft spot for main characters and my heart hurts for them! And this book surpasses all expectations. It threw one or two wrenches in there. Iron Flame implodes with rip-roar adventure, heart break and victory. It’s every bit of brutal, captivating, and painstakingly hard to digest. But I would read it over and over and over and over.

The Last Light Series by Terri Blackstock

Fall means- ALL the cozy reading I can getšŸšŸŽƒšŸ“–šŸ˜Œ

This series will FOREVER hold a place in my heart. If you need a new series right now- this would be my very first suggestion.

An electromagnetic pulse knocks out every form of technology. Meaning planes are crashing, your watch won’t work, and life as we know it in this day in age is changing rapidly. This series follows a family, (split between 4 points of view) as they navigate how to live in a world with chaos and still honor God. It’ll suck you right in with the constant concern of the world & the mighty hand of God in each family member’s heart. Imagine learning that there is no form of mail, or law enforcement? And you have to learn how to find a clean water source because your fridge won’t dispense it anymore…

This series is mind boggling with all the things being juggled and leave you awe-struck!!!!!!

The Lady’s Mine by Francine Rivers
________________________

Starting off the fall season with this Francine Rivers’ GEM!!!🤠 This one is a little different from her popular book- Redeeming Love or Mark of the Lion series! And BOY is it good!!!! This book is a refreshing feel to her usual writing style.

Set in 1875, Kathryn Walsh finds herself in a tiny mining town called Calvada. Ms.Walsh is spirited, beautiful, and outspoken. She’ll catch your attention instantly & irritate you at the same time?!? But you’ll be rooting for her by the end of the book. TRUST ME. This is such a compelling story of a women who uses her voice through her late Uncle’s newspaper & tests the limits of this oppressed small town. The love story is my favorite- with a captivating ~tug of the heart~ sequence. You’ll be on your toes with passion & on the edge of your seat with anticipation throughout the entire book. Overall, an easy, feel good, and peaceful must-read!

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
_________________

Ever feel like you left a piece of your heart with a book? I seem to do that a lot, but with this one especially.

Starting off with one of my Top 5 favorite books I’ve ever read. The Nightingale dives into the lives of 2 sisters in German-occupied France during World War II. You will be completely encapsulated into this Historical Fiction novel and your heart will be tugged in 2 different directions as the sisters’ passions, dangerous paths, and awe-struck situations unfold. Remarkable how a book can give me a sense of comfort & peace while also, being incredibly devastating at the same time.

I will always recommend this book and yearn to read it for the first time again.
