It was a joy and honor to participate in Washington County Gives. This year Beyond the Arc Foundation was able to raise an incredible $5,220 because of the compassion of 9 donors- ranking 28 out of 91 participating nonprofits.

We are appreciative of the initiative of The Community Foundation of Washington County, Maryland Inc, for the opportunity.

Let the countdown begin! Beyond the Arc Foundation is overjoyed to announce our participation in Washington County Gives 2022 on May 10th.

Washington County Gives is a 24-hour, online giving promotion hosted by the Community Foundation of Washington County, Maryland. Celebrating ten years of service to local non-profits, this event is an opportunity to raise an unrestricted amount of money, as well as receive pro-rated matching funds.

Beyond the Arc Foundation continues to invest in fostering the youth by providing opportunities of education, exposure, and experiences through our programs that serve over 300 youth. Committed to the mission, this Spring, BAF President Ebonie Williams and other dedicated agents of change built on our vision with the launch of The Academy. The Academy is a boys and girls travel basketball organization consisting of 84 AAU players.

This summer BAF will carry out the legacy established by community pillars hosting the 59th season of the annual RuthAnn Monroe Summer Basketball League, affectionately tagged as #SundaysAtThePark. This league is a rich piece of community’s history and has positively impacted the lives of many youth over the years.

Helen Keller was quoted saying, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Next Tuesday is our opportunity to do more, support us in giving back as we advance forward. by @beyondthearcfoundation
