What’s also interesting, since I switched from conventional to sumo deadlifts my post-deadlift lower back pain is goneeee by @beyondthebumpfit

Menstrual phase: light lifting, cardio or just rest if your periods really knock it out of you. I skip gym and go for more walks when mine are bad.

Follicular phase: load up the weight and hit those pbs!

Ovulation: depending on your energy levels go for slightly lower weight and increase the reps. You should still feel good to get a tiring workout in.

Luteal phase: focus on maintenance weight, I tend to keep my lifts 10-15kg lower than my pbs. This is also a good time to focus on mobility and taking care of your muscles before that period hits you like a train 😅 by @beyondthebumpfit

There are my honest opinions an I hope they help you in your birth prep, better to have all of the pain relief options available even if they don’t help!
On the IV pain relief you can have for home birth: I just didn’t fancy it. The midwife advised me it can make you feel a bit tipsy/drunk and I just didn’t want that personally ☺️
