Maharaja of #mysore #yaduveerwadiyar gets detained as he wanted to celebrate #ganeshutsav these people's don't care about your gods #karnataka peoples remember who disrespected your faith #beyondtrpin abhijeet dipke please ask for accountability

YADUVEER WADIYAR MAHARAJ OF MYSORE DETAINED AS HE WANTED TO CELEBRATE GANESH UTSAV

Yaduveer Wadiyar, was detained along with BJP leaders during a protest in T. Narasipura over restrictions surrounding a Ganesh Chaturthi procession.

The controversy erupted after allegations that police had imposed stringent conditions on the procession and allegedly warned organisers against certain routes, slogans and activities. BJP leaders demanded action against T. Narasipura Police Inspector Dhananjay and called for his suspension.

Yaduveer Wadiyar joined the protest, arguing that Ganesh Utsav is a long-standing cultural and religious tradition. He questioned the restrictions and said public roads should remain accessible to citizens for religious processions.

The incident has now turned into a wider debate:

And perhaps the bigger question:

Why did a Ganesh Utsav turn into a political confrontation resulting in the detention of an elected MP?

Next time voters should remember in Karnataka that their religion gets targeted and other religions are given complete independence voters are smart. Dear congress remember taken in Karnataka by @beyondtrp.in
