Today was funky. I had an appointment to discuss radiation and upcoming treatment for the remaining 30% tumor (this was left intentionally so I didn’t have nerve damage from surgery). Anyways this clip is FAR from perfect but I needed a break before getting a better video. I don’t know what key if any that I’m singing in but people if you could’ve seen how my day started..the fact that I’m ending it in song says a lot about how the day turned around. I hold onto and sing about hope in these tough ass times of the world. I sing of hope while understanding reality. It’s all about balance baby. This weather is so healing today. Go bask in it if you can. Also don’t come for me about the water stain on my shirt or anything else because I won’t have it. I’m here to heal and feel good. I’ll get those vocal lessons one day though. Hold me to it 🤭😅 peace and love internet dweebs xo. Hi Facebook world!!! I'm a week post-brain tumor removal surgery and took my first car ride around the city of New Orleans that I love so much. I had lunch at my favorite spot in the city, Lil Dizzy's Cafe 504's. Lauren Faller and I split (emphasis on split so yall dont think I ate all of this myself lol), crab cakes, fried catfish (not pictured), string beans, southern greens, candied yams, and dirty rice. The employees were wonderful, per usual, and the food almost made me cry!!! If you've never been, you gotta run, not walk and go pay them a visit. Thank me later. Being in the area had me thinking about Fat Man a lot; Romanda Hunter and I just smiled, thinking about how I know he was one of my angels during my brain tumor removal. Debbie Kennedy Reeves, I know Tyler was one of my angels as well, along with all other loved ones I've lost over the years (too many but all in my heart forever and always). I am doing really well and still supported by so much love. I go to my two-week check-up with my surgeon on 2/18 and will try to give an update when I have one. Hi lovelies. I haven’t been singing on stages at all but that doesn’t mean I’m not singing elsewhere. I’m also extremely blessed to be surrounded by incredible musicians at my job and just walking down the street in the city of New Orleans. The baby in this video is the youngest bb of @harombone (one of the many incredible musicians I get to work with.)

Haruka is a trombone player at Preservation Hall where I work and is one of the most kind hearted people I know. She is a wonderful slide trombone player. She now has sudden sensorineural hearing loss and is considering cochlear implant surgery. Her husband, Z2 is a badass piano player at Preservation Hall and other locations around New Orleans. He recently found out he has colon cancer. They are both full time musicians with two ADORABLE children under the age of 5. If you are able, please consider donating to their go fund me account to assist them through this very difficult time. Proud to say I pulled myself out of a low spot today thanks to this guitar, some singing, the chips you see, my beautiful dog, and the man secretly recording behind the phone @collinthepolice and pushing me to play. Music works wonders on my soul. Take care beautiful people! by @bfallersings

Timeless lyrics. Celebrating this song’s 50th anniversary 👀 and what timing for it to fall on while so hard for so many to just “let it be” and for reasons I so understand. Waking up today and playing this music made a certain calmness fall over me & I needed that. I hope anyone that sees this can work to find a moment or two in this day to enjoy something that brings them a certain calmness because we all deserve it 💛

Total beginner on these keys and I’m giggling at how hard I press on them but whatever it’s because I’m feelin’ the music 😅 Also yes I am in a night gown with wet hair but I swear I’m about to get dressed and seize the day even more right after I post this haha. Love you guys xo by @bfallersings
