It’s almost October and we wanted to introduce you to our Studio Coordinator, Quincy Hines! Quincy will be in and out of the studio a couple days a week, offering the opportunity for open studio time on Mondays in October, and is the face behind our studio email, assisting with rental needs! Read her bio below and say hello the next time you see her!✨

Quincy Hines is a Philadelphia based dancer. She graduated from Drexel University in June of 2025 with a B.S. in Dance and a minor in Psychology. Quincy pursued an internship with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, a non-profit in New York City, working as an operations assistant. There, she helped with company administrative work, donor communications, and fundraising events. During her time at Drexel University, Quincy was the secretary for the Drexel branch of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. With NHSDA, she was responsible for scheduling events for the dance program, organizing fundraisers, and running the social media account. She also had the opportunity to participate in a five week study abroad program in London at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Here she expanded her knowledge in dance and choreography, the opportunity to dance with artists from all over Europe, and meet new people from all over the world. Additionally, Quincy was a part of the Drexel Dance Ensemble for four years, allowing her to work with artists from the Philadelphia dance community and beyond.

Following her graduation, Quincy performed at the Fringe Arts Festival. She has been teaching dance at The Dance Spot of North Jersey to ages 2-18. As a teacher, she values spreading her love for dance to the younger generation of dancers in hopes they find a passion for it as special as her own. Currently, you can find Quincy dancing with IRIS, a contemporary based company in Philadelphia. by @bfandartists

Britt Fishel & Artists is a nonprofit dance company committed to creating work that merges visceral physicality with social inquiry, igniting dialogue between audience and performer. Collaborative in nature, their mission is to expand the boundaries of contemporary dance through performance, education, and film, while cultivating an inclusive community where diverse voices and perspectives are centered.
Their work exists at the intersection of movement, technology, and storytelling. They create evening-length dance works, site-specific performances, and screendance projects that grapple with themes of identity, collective memory, and the human condition. Through bold physicality and collaborative processes, they invite audiences to reflect on the complexities of the present moment. @bfandartists @britt.fishel by @bfandartists

MAIDEN MOTHER CRONE
September 25-26, 2026
8PM
Part of Philly Fringe Festival
🌛🌝🌜

Drawing from the archetypal figures of the maiden, mother, and crone, the work explores the interconnected stages of human development and the parallels they share with the natural world. Inspired by the lunar cycle and mythological traditions that associate the waxing, full, and waning moon with these archetypes, Maiden Mother Crone examines the moon as both a symbolic and structural framework for understanding change across a lifetime. The work considers how cycles of growth, creation, release, and renewal shape individual identities as well as communities, offering an alternative to linear narratives of progress and success.
Working through a feminist lens, the project interrogates and reclaims narratives surrounding femininity, aging, power, and wisdom that have historically been simplified, marginalized, or erased. Rather than presenting the maiden, mother, and crone as fixed identities, the work approaches them as dynamic states of being that coexist within everyone and emerge in different ways throughout life. Through live performance, projected imagery, sound, and collaborative creation, the project investigates themes of emergence, care, intuition, resilience, loss, renewal, and the wisdom gained through lived experience.

For more information, visit the link in our bio. We hope you will join us for our first premiere at & Space!

We are beyond excited and deeply grateful to return to @kulturfactory this August. After 5 years, what a privilege to return and have the space to be in practice, to make, and to just be.

We will be working on a collaborative screendance, filming at the incredible Castello Pignatelli della Leonessa.
Set within the castle’s courtyard and gardens, this work will continue to explore themes of eco-feminism, the interconnectedness between the body and the earth, and the ways we recognize ourselves as part of the landscape.

To be welcomed back to a place that has inspired us before is a gift. See you soon🇮🇹 by @bfandartists
