The panel discussion on premium ice takes place on October 21st and is moderated by Vasyl Kolodii, Vice President of EPIA 🧊

It brings together owners of clear and premium ice factories from several European countries for an hour of open conversation, in a Q&A format rather than presentations.

The aim is to show the industry what premium ice looks like in practice - how these factories are built and financed, who the customers are, how the economics compare with traditional packaged ice, and where new producers most often go wrong.

With producers of different sizes and from different markets on stage, the audience will hear several honest answers to the same questions instead of a single theory, which fits well with this year’s convention theme, dedicated to premium ice. taken in Aranjuez, Madrid, Spain by @bftech_ice

More than an ice cube. An experience. That’s the standard behind @irokori_ — our amigos and clients from Barcelona, Spain, hand-crafting crystal-clear ice for bars and cocktail lovers out of Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Today Irokori supplies bars, restaurants and caterers across Catalonia — and they make it all on our machines. Proud to be part of every crystal-clear cube they serve.

Ice matters!💎

That’s the motto of @isbudet — our friends and long-time clients from Sweden, and proud members of @europeice alongside us.

Isbudet started with a simple question @sebastianstornell kept asking: where do you get truly good ice? That question grew into a dedicated ice factory in Partille, Gothenburg.

Today Isbudet supplies hand-sawn, crystal-clear ice to bars, events, and private clients across Sweden. And we’re happy to be the ones behind the machines that make it all possible🤝
