Episode022/100: BEAUTY IS A COLLABORATION ✨

A picture might look like one person’s moment, but there’s usually a whole creative process behind it.

This shoot reminded me that sometimes, the magic happens when different people bring their own talent, perspective and creativity to the same idea.

I got to step in front of the camera this time, but this wasn’t just about being the model.

A moment, without explanation.

Perhaps the afternoon was simply feeling generous. It left gold on their skin, softened the edges of the room, and made ordinary things look worth remembering.

There was no occasion, no grand plan, nothing that needed to be explained. Just two people, somewhere between a conversation and a photograph, existing quietly in the same space.

For a little while, the world outside could wait. The room held its warmth, the light lingered a little longer, and everything felt strangely unhurried. Nothing remarkable happened, really. And perhaps that was the beauty of it. It was only a moment exactly what it was, nothing more, nothing less.

WHERE SILENCE LIVES
There is a quietness in his eyes
that does not ask to be understood.
It simply watches,
as though life taught him early
that some stories are better carried
than spoken.
His skin holds the warmth of earth,
deep brown against a brown horizon,
and his face feels like something

the afternoon took its time creating
rough edges, soft light,
a mouth suspended between
a confession and a smile.
He wears no armour,
yet there is something guarded about him.
Something behind the gaze.
Something beneath the stillness.
Perhaps he is not posing at all.
Perhaps, for a moment,
he has simply stopped running
from whatever lives inside him.

And I wonder
how many things can a man hold
behind a pair of quiet eyes
before silence becomes
another name for home?

She was made of elements.

Earth in her stillness,
Water in the softness of her curves,
Fire in the quiet certainty of her gaze.
Her caramel skin held the warmth of sunlight,
while light and shadow moved gently across it.

She was neither softness nor strength,
but the meeting of both

Looking back, we didn’t realize just how significant that day would become.

It was our last resumption as undergraduate students 🎓✨

We smiled for the cameras, reconnected with friends, and stepped into a new session not fully aware it would be our final one. Now, we’ve written our last papers… and just like that, an unforgettable chapter has come to an end.

These photos are more than moments from my Back-to-School Finalist Program. They are reminders of a season that shaped us, the friendships we built, the lessons we learned, the challenges we overcame, and the dreams we now carry into the next phase of life.

I’m grateful for the privilege of documenting this through my lens 📸🤍 One day, we’ll look back and realize this was where one journey ended… and another quietly began.

A MONTH AGO | MARCH 26th, 2026.

I found myself behind the lens at an inaugural lecture in my department Marketing, at the University of Ilorin… and it felt a little more personal than usual.

It was an honour to witness and capture moments that brought together excellence and legacy including the presence of our Vice Chancellor, Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, whose leadership reflects dignity, excellence, and service.

From official greetings to quiet, heartfelt moments and yes, gently suggesting that frame of Professor with his mum ❤🥹it reminded me of a mother’s impact.
Congratulations to professor.
Being part of the department and documenting such a moment felt special.
