To close out the year, BGN will be hosting one last celebration on 5/16: The Black Prom Afterparty 🕺🏾🪩

After the ‘Black Grad’ Kente Stole Ceremony and reception on Saturday the 16th, we’ll be hosting an after party at @ toadsplace for black graduates across campus.

We are excited to be partnering with @helixcommons , a resale marketplace created by our fellow classmate @intothemayaverse . On Helix you can rent vintage pieces for the occasion while also supporting their recently launched pilot.

Dress code is vintage formal/prom, so come in your best throwback looks.

One last night to celebrate the Class of 2026 in style. ALL student, along with friends and family are welcome.

Congratulations to three of our sculptor students: Bendy Sohn, Cameron Patricia, and Taisha Carrington from the School of Art as they prepare for the reception of their final thesis show tomorrow. This is a must see exhibition you don’t want to miss!!! Across the exhibition you encounter reflections on diasporic memory, architectural forms that think about breathability and the porous relationship between inside and outside, and sculptural forms that draw from the aesthetics of the church where purple and gold gesture toward an eschatological imagination. Swipe to the end for event details and the after party 💃🏽. by @bgnatyale
