THE UNTITLED SANDWICH SHOP | London Bridge

@martinisandmunch, the sandwich queen herself took me to try some sandwiches and wow this place is amazing.

Let’s start with the service, the staff who work here are so nice!

The sandwich was everything you could want from a sandwich, I literally couldn’t fault it. The fried chicken was moist and well seasoned, the bread was crunchy but fluffy. The cheesy béchamel was delicious and it all just worked together. We got a side of miso mayo and cranberry, both delicious.

I think it would also be the best hangover cure.

10/10 - smashed it The Untitled Sandwich Shop.

Tayyabs | Whitechapel

Tayyabs is an institution in London. It’s BYOB so you can bring whatever you like to drink and it is simply chaos.

We waited nearly an hour for our table that we had booked and paid a deposit for. They hadn’t got a clue what was going on, it was a shambles.

Once we finally got seated, the service was very good. They brought out the starters which in my opinion were pretty good, especially the lamb chops, a solid 9/10

The mains were a bit of a let down, oily and lacked the depth of spices you’d expect.

This place is great for a laugh, if you want an unreal dining experience this isn’t for you but it’s great for large groups (if you don’t mind waiting for your table for a while).

6/10 - would be higher but I did have the shits and I don’t like to queue xx

ROKA | Charlotte Street

£88pp Japanese Tasting Menu

Always loved Roka but haven’t been for a while. The food is high quality and delicious.

You get so much food with the set menu and get to try a variety of different dishes.

My only negative would be is that the mains didn’t come with any vegetables or side dishes, so it was literally just meat and fish. Great for the protein girls and boys x

Lavo | Marlyebone

If you are a Kardashian fan, you should know this spot. Newly opened in London and it bloody slaps.

I genuinely think this could be one of the best Italian restaurants in London. I would give this restaurant a 9/10 🤌🏽

Must orders:
⭐ Octopus
⭐ Fritto Misto
⭐ Penne alla Vodka
⭐ Silk Handkerchief

The only let down, that made it a 9 rather than a 10 is that our table took 20 minutes to be ready.

Sporting Londres | West London

I cannot recommend this place highly enough for a big group dinner! With live music, loads of food and cheap drinks, it’s a great no frills spot.

We paid £35pp and that included all of the food and bottles of wine on the table. You then can order more to the table or go to the bar, where the drinks are the cheapest i’ve seen anywhere in London. I will say the food isn’t Michellin star, but you’re not coming here for that so grow up.

It’s chaotic, cheap and good vibes, what more could you want!

P.S the live singer was unreal x

FALLOW | ST JAMES

I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant and I would say it is one of the best places to dine in London.

Obsessed with the mushroom parfait which I forgot to film but we ordered 3 of them.

Highlights include: corn ribs, beef ribs, burrata, duck, ALL OF THE POTATO DISHES and the desserts wow 🤌🏽

You simply must come here, the service is amazing and the food is 10/10.

I have no notes apart from I wish I didn’t eat a fish eye ball.

Six by Nico | Fitzrovia

Came here for my birthday and it was terrible. The menu was Wizard of Oz themed so they were trying to be creative but it didn’t work.

I genuinely was so disappointed by everything apart from the pork dish.

Serving frozen goats cheese?? 🙃🙃🙃

They don’t deserve any ratings but the staff were lovely and did take off all of our drinks.

KOKO BAY | DUBAI

Unfortunately the worst restaurant I visisted in Dubai and it was on my last night.

The nasi goreng was terrible, could of been from a packet. The risotto was also tasteless. Genuinely so disappointing. Other tables were also complaining so clearly a common theme.

The service was decent and I appreciated the chef trying to make it right by giving a dessert platter but I do not recommend this restaurant. The view is also obstructed because of building work.

Food - 3/10 the starters saved it
Drinks -0/10 pepsi rather than coke
Atmosphere - 6.8/10
Price - ££

Novikov Cafe | Dubai Mall

Came here for a late night dinner and it was very busy. The setting is lovely, overlooking the fountains and the service is brilliant. You can tell the food is very good quality but I wouldn’t rush back here. The food was very simple and I personally like more flavour.

Food - 6.2/10 - it was ‘nice’
Drinks - soft drinks
Atmosphere - 8.3/10
Price - ££

GASTRONOMY | ROYAL ATLANTIS

Known as one of the best buffets in the world, you won’t be short on choice here. There is also a lovely terrace so you can eat outside!

They have sooo many different cuisines, here is just some of what is on offer:

A bread room, a cheese room, roast meats, a salad room, fish, sashimi, Italian, Indian and loads of desserts!

I’d definitely recommend this place if you like a buffet. It’s obviously a very different experience from going to a normal restaurant.

Food - 7.8/10
Drinks - Only had a soft drink
Atmosphere - 8/10- good for a buffet

PAI THAI | Jumeirah Al Qasr

This restaurant was unbelievable. Everything I ate was a 10/10. The best Thai in Dubai hands down. I have nothing negative to say.

A must visit !!
