Runners hit the streets early this morning for the annual Boyle Heights 5K Run/Walk (@bh5krunwalk).

The race kicked off at Mariachi Plaza, made its way across the 6th Street Bridge and wrapped up with a classic car show.

Did you cheer on a runner? Congratulate them in the comments! 🏅🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃

It’s almost a wrap at @runwithuspasadena for shirt/bib distribution! I went on a morning run today and I haven’t ran a mile at that speed in about 15 years. Needed to shake off some of the stress, negative vibes, & haters 😂 let’s do this #running #community #bh5k by @_run_eddie_run

Our @bh5krunwalk shirts have arrived, and the orange looks fantastic!

Got a FB memory of 2018 when it rained during the event. Time really flies—my daughter has been participating in the Munchkin Run since she was a baby. It is an amazing feeling to see so many of our past Munchkin runners now competing in the full 5K Run alongside their siblings and parents.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday. by @_run_eddie_run
