A little more about the story behind BH Design Co. 🤎

If you’ve known TaDa Interiors for a while, you know it has always been a little more than a business.

My mom, Patty, opened the original TaDa store in Berlin in 1996. After 21 years, it evolved into TaDa Interiors and became the foundation for the work I’m lucky enough to continue today.

My dad, Steve, built his own legacy through Stephen Falck Construction. I grew up around job sites, hand-drawn plans, punch lists, and conversations about houses. Between the two of them, I learned so much about design, craftsmanship, hard work, and what it takes to build something that lasts and surround myself with good people.

Now, after many years of designing, creating, and serving our clients, my mom is stepping into retirement. She will be spending more time with her grandsons as well as painting — both for fun and for commission!

I’m so grateful for everything my parents built, for the people who have supported TaDa over the years, and for all the kind words and encouragement since sharing this news.

The work and the vision behind it aren’t new. This is simply a new chapter, rooted in what came before.

Thanks for being here. 🤎

We just love a layout upgrade! Bumping this exterior wall out allowed for a larger window, larger island, larger pantry, and an absolutely breathtaking panoramic view✨

A simple update is all that was needed in this family’s kitchen & breakfast nook – painted kitchen cabs, new hardware, new chairs, new lighting and new rugs.

Thanks to @overholtcontracting & team for carrying out our vision with such incredible attention to detail!

These custom details brought this project to another level - the glass/white oak partitions, beautiful mantle, the ~10’ tall book cases, and newly reconstructed staircase.

We’re excited to share the full scope of this space’s renovation! A once-formal dining room turned bar/pool table room called for an updated look and more functionality in this home made for entertaining🍷Complete with plenty of bar storage and custom details, we absolutely love how this room turned out!
But one of our favorite things about this space is its flexibility. It’s just as perfect for a cozy wine night as it is for hosting a full dinner party—simply swap the lounge chairs for a dining table, and the room transforms. Thanks again to an incredible team for carrying out our vision!

We finally get to share one of our favorite transformations to date✨The full update of this family room included removing the stone fireplace surround, removing two Juliet balconies, tying in new framing and drywall to an existing coffered ceiling, and updating just about everything else in the space. Thanks to @overholtcontracting & team for carrying out our vision with such incredible attention to detail!

This 1890 home didn’t have a designated pantry, so we of course made space for one! Complete with custom black walnut double pocket doors and fully custom cabinets and shelving👌🏼
