The United States says European countries refused to support its push for higher tariffs on India and China over their purchases of Russian oil. Washington has been trying to pressure countries buying Russian oil as part of its efforts to limit Moscow’s energy revenue amid the war in Ukraine. However, Europe’s reported refusal highlights differences between the US and its allies over how to deal with Russia and its trading partners. The disagreement also shows that India and China’s energy trade with Russia remains a major issue in international relations and global trade.

Freedom without discipline is not freedom — it’s chaos. 🇮🇳

Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw believed that discipline wasn’t limited to the military; it was essential for every responsible citizen.

Littering public spaces, damaging property, ignoring punctuality, and disrespecting others may seem like small acts, but they reflect a much bigger problem in society.

A disciplined nation isn’t built by rules alone, but by citizens who understand their responsibilities.

True freedom comes with accountability, respect, and civic sense. 🫡

A Jhansi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against actress Rakhi Sawant in a 2010 case linked to her reality show Rakhi Ka Insaaf. The case involves allegations that Sawant made a derogatory remark about a Jhansi man during an episode in which she acted as a judge and heard his marital dispute. The man died later that year, and his family blamed the public humiliation. His mother subsequently filed a police complaint. Sawant’s arrest was stayed by the High Court in 2010. The court has now directed police to produce her on December 1.
