Nobody should jump to conclusions about anyone's intentions based on a few visuals, but the contrast is certainly striking. The very people who repeatedly call Veer Savarkar a coward are now reportedly signing bonds after barely a day of protests. The contrast between the big speeches and the actual outcome has given their critics plenty of ammunition.

Savarkar spent years imprisoned in the Cellular Jail in the Andaman Islands, enduring brutal conditions under British colonial rule. More than 1,000 people were reportedly detained across Delhi on Saturday as police stepped up security ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) planned protest at Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Those reported detained include YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, co-conveners Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, and CJP legal affairs head Ratna Singh. Content creator Kavya Karnatac, known for her YouTube channel KK Create, and AISA national president Neha Bora were also detained.

Several opposition and Left leaders were reportedly taken into custody, including CPI(M) leaders Pinarayi Vijayan, M. A. Baby, M. V. Govindan, Brinda Karat, K. K. Shailaja, P. K. Sreemathi, John Brittas and K. N. Balagopal. AAP leader Manish Sisodia and other opposition figures were also among those reportedly detained.

The action came after the Delhi Police denied permission for the planned demonstration, citing security and law-and-order concerns. The protest was called over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with organisers demanding accountability from the Election Commission.

INDIAN PILOT'S COURAGE SAVED A
PLANE🇮🇳🤝🇮🇱

Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian-origin pilot aboard a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was reportedly stabbed inside the cockpit by the other pilot.

Despite being seriously wounded, Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door before collapsing. Passengers and crew rushed in, overpowered the attacker and helped regain control of the aircraft.

The plane was diverted to Saudi Arabia and landed safely.

One wounded captain. Brave passengers. Seconds that saved 174 lives.

The investigation into the incident and the attacker's motive is ongoing.
