THIS IS NOT JUST A PLAY.
THIS IS A STATEMENT IN HUMOUR FROM A PEOPLE LONG NEGLECTED.

After 30 days of intense theatre training, discipline, struggle and collective creation, in collaboration with NATIONAL SCHOOL OF DRAMA, NEW DELHI, the young people of JAGTI Refugee Camp step onto the stage for the first time - to tell a KASHMIRI COMIC STORY that will make you laugh, think, and perhaps see something differently.

For many of them, theatre is not a profession.
It is a first encounter.
A new language.
A new space to find their voice, their confidence and their own place in the world.

This performance is not merely something to watch.
IT IS SOMETHING TO STAND BEHIND.

Your presence matters. Your applause matters because Their voices matter.

🙏🎭 by @bhashasumbli

Orzu, Shri Lalit Parimoo Ji, for your support and blessings for our upcoming theatre workshop. We are truly honoured.
As children, we would be scared every time Dr. Jackal appeared on screen in Shaktimaan. Today, beyond that iconic role, we look up to you for your immense contribution to theatre and cinema, which continues to inspire generations of artists.
Your encouragement means the world to us. 🙏🎭 by @bhashasumbli
