Why are MPs/MLAs allowed to pursue movies, singing, shows and commercial engagements while holding elected office?

We vote expecting them to improve roads, schools, hospitals and governance—not build entertainment careers.

When an elected representative spends substantial time on commercial work, shouldn’t we question the conflict of interest?

Public office is a responsibility, not a part-time profession.

The question deserves a serious debate.

Some journeys take you to a place.
Some journeys take you closer to yourself.

Standing before Adiyogi, beneath the vast sky and in the presence of Mahadev, I felt a kind of calmness that is difficult to put into words. The noise of the world seemed to fade away, the mind became quieter, and for a few moments, there was nothing to chase, nothing to prove just silence, peace and presence.

Mahadev is not only a God we pray to. He is a state of being.
The stillness of Shiva teaches us how to remain calm when life becomes chaotic.
His third eye reminds us to look beyond what the eyes can see.
His meditation reminds us that the greatest journey is not outward, but inward.

And then there is Nandi sitting before Adiyogi with unwavering stillness and devotion.

Nandi teaches us something profound: patience, trust and absolute receptivity. He doesn’t demand anything from Shiva. He simply waits, listens and remains devoted.

Perhaps that is the lesson we often forget:

Be still.
Be patient.
Be devoted.
And listen within.

In front of Mahadev, the world seems a little quieter, the mind a little lighter, and the soul a little closer to itself.

If this transfer is legal, who decided that a young elephant must be separated from her familiar surroundings?

Who verified her complete ownership, provenance and welfare before such a massive transfer?

Why was the entire process carried out with so little transparency?

Governments have the power to move paperwork across states but do they have the moral right to treat a living being like paperwork?

Durga is not a file to be transferred. She is a life.

🇮🇳 Celebrating 80 years of Independence from British rule.

But the question remains: how much have we truly progressed from then?

Poverty still exists, quality healthcare remains out of reach for many, and good education is still a privilege in several parts of India.

We have achieved remarkable progress, but our freedom should also mean freedom from poverty, illiteracy, inequality and lack of opportunity.

The journey towards a truly developed India is still far from over.
