In process with circles.
There’s something about circles… and it looks like my interest is steady, for a change.

Gosh I love this music ….

Here’s a bit of me behind the screen - so much is changing and being seen through even if understanding doesn’t completely appear

The bowl- the bowl is FULL
Tuirse - - A word I’ve lived without knowing why and always thinking it was my own fault
And HER - this joy being expressed on my 3rd birthday- before major traumas had taken root in my system — I’m calling HER back now.

Sending support to all of us for all we need for the changes that are happening in us and through us.
Happy Eclipse Day tomorrow
Blessed Be

I’ve been painting recently with some new paint that a friend gave me -Lucas snd Sennilier acrylics- they’re very thick and I’m not mixing many colors unless something gets mixed on the panel or canvas while I’m painting.

what I’m enjoying is the process
we’ve all heard this so many times but it’s so fascinating to notice choices -changing choices - and following little nudges
I’m feeling like I’m actually in the space of a couple of these paintings - the second photo - the really orange and yellow one— it’s such a different feeling

something has changed in my process. Something has changed in my relationship to my process.

A friend asked me today how I was feeling and I had just finished a session with a really grieving heart and he asked me if I paint my grief and I realize that I find so much joy in painting that I just don’t stay with my feelings - it’s just not the place for me to feel my grieving or maybe it is but it comes out looking like joy

I’m just glad for it
What a year this has been.
Ahh I just realized some of these are horizontal canvases and you won’t see the whole painting-
The first three are 24x24 and the completely abstract one is 12x12

Glad for a light handed focus

We all sit at a table and are welcomed.

I’m starting to look at ways to make these works in paper available in the easiest way possible. I look forward to seeing how to do that .

I’m in awe at the power of the creative relationship and the trust it invites and the love it reveals

I can’t say more at the moment …….
Working title on first image “i’m toast” zoom in to the collage element and you’ll catch my drift !!

Sending out a stable table from this corner of our world by @bheileart

It took me awhile to find where I had left off with this idea- I remember how the 40 - my address - appeared in the process in August this year - gosh that seems so long ago ,,,,,,,slide to see August stage.

Today while I was using this lavender paint here and there it was called into the cloud and then the process took off - risk and all —- which is a sure sign of actually being in relationship to the painting .
Now it’s drying on the floor - letting all the drips settle. Feels like home with those green boxwoods!!

Fun to be engaged this way again.
That made my depression and anxious feeling for the world lift……..

Home again
30x40 acrylic in canvas

What I feel in the changes that were made is the solidity of the home in the midst of everything that I feel in response to life - that dark roof really has weight that grounds the delicate markings in that yellow ochre shape.

Using this shape randomly is working for me - I’m glad it has showed up!
I like to paint and I especially like not overthinking!

This morning I was sitting in the sun , trying to sit with myself and all I feel and it struck me - the yellow and the blue— and that red ——— how can I not see blue and yellow without thinking of the Ukrainian people and their deep red river of heart. And their homes———-
