Reminiscing my favorite night "outside"

It didn’t involve clubs or bars. Instead, it was me and two of my closest friends spending hours in a tunnel that so many FSU students walk through every day, armed with nothing but boxes of chalk and a message we felt called to share.

From 11:30 pm to a little after 2 am, we covered that tunnel the best we could with words about hope, love, grace, and the Good News that Jesus gave His life so we wouldn’t have to live trapped by fear, shame, or hopelessness. Every verse and little drawing was done with the prayer that maybe one person walking through would feel seen, encouraged, or reminded that they are deeply loved by God.

What made the night even more special was coming back and seeing that other people had added to it too. Strangers left their own messages, scriptures, prayers, and reminders of Christ’s love, and somehow our little chalk mural turned into something bigger than us. A small community testimony right there on concrete walls.

I’m so grateful for the people who stopped, read, contributed, encouraged us, or simply took a moment to think about Jesus on their walk home. Nights like this remind me that sharing the Gospel doesn’t always have to look loud or polished. Sometimes it just looks like showing up with people you love, using what you have, and trusting God to do the rest. by @bhiggz721
