This moment wouldn’t be possible without the incredible love and unwavering support of my clients. Each and every one of you has made this dream a reality, and for that, I’m forever grateful. What started as a bold, seemingly impossible idea has far surpassed even my wildest dreams.

Now, I’m excited to give StudioSEB an upgrade — not just for me, but for all of you. You’ve been with me through this wild journey, and I’m so grateful to call many of you friends.

Being a hairstylist is basically getting invested in dozens of reality shows and having to wait 8-12 weeks for the next episode 😭

As a hairstylist AND a busy mom of four, I will do just about anything to get one more day out of my hair 😂

My go-to for years has been the IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo + a tiny claw clip and I can make “definitely should’ve washed my hair today” look intentional in under 3 minutes.

I love that the charcoal-infused, vegan formula actually helps absorb excess oil instead of just making my hair feel coated. A few sprays, a quick refresh, and suddenly wash day can be tomorrow’s problem. 🙌🏼

Because sometimes the best hair hack is simply buying yourself one more day.

You can be BRIGHT blonde without having a harsh line of regrowth. 👏🏼

“Low maintenance” doesn’t have to mean dark, bronde, or barely highlighted.

Even my brightest blondes usually have some intentional depth and softness at the root, and there’s a reason for it.

A slightly rootier, more blended placement gives the blonde something to pop against, keeps the overall color dimensional instead of flat, and creates a much softer grow out between appointments.

The goal isn’t necessarily to make you less blonde.

It’s to put the blonde where it makes the most impact while creating a blend that still looks good weeks (and months 👀) later.

Bright around the face. Dimension where you need it. Softness at the root. No harsh line when it grows out.

THAT is a low maintenance blonde. 🤌🏼✨

And yes, you can absolutely still leave the salon feeling VERY blonde. 🤍

Not every blonde has to start at the root. And who says you can’t be bright AND low maintenance? A soft lived-in blonde means less maintenance, a softer grow out, and that bright, expensive look that never feels overdone. ✨ by @bhookshair

I’ve been in the hair industry now for six years, and somewhere along the way I realized this job was never really just about hair. It’s about earning someone’s trust. It’s about being there for the biggest highs and the hardest lows. It’s about celebrating pregnancies, crying over losses, talking through career changes, marriages, divorces, cancer diagnoses, and everything in between… all while trying to make someone leave feeling a little more like themselves than when they walked in. There are days I leave work physically exhausted, but more often than not, I’m emotionally full. I carry your stories with me. I celebrate your wins. I worry about you when life gets heavy.

I know people joke that we “just do hair,” but for so many of us, it’s so much more than that. If you’re one of my clients, thank you. Thank you for trusting me, supporting my small business, and letting me be a tiny part of your life. I don’t take that for granted for a single second. 🤍 by @bhookshair

My reason.

The reason behind the long days, the full schedule, the constant juggling, and every goal I keep chasing. Being their mom is the greatest thing I’ll ever do, and being trusted behind the chair while building this life for them is something I’ll never take for granted.
