thyr à Paris 🇫🇷✨

From sharing our practice at Centre de Danse du Marais (@centredansemarais) to moving through the streets, studios, museums, and unexpected corners of Paris. Every encounter became part of the process. 🤍

We came to move, exchange, observe, and connect.
And somewhere along the way, new ideas started taking shape.

Something is already in motion.
More to come. 👀✨

The first time I went to Danceworks I took a picture of the door before I walked in, I was so excited and wanted to remember how it looked like in 3 years from that day. Now that this moment came, looking at this picture, and all the other memories I now carry with me from these beautiful time I spent there, I just feel so grateful to have been part of this.

I didn’t expect to meet so many people that I wish to take with me now after graduation, and I am so glad I did. These years wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Lena, Luisa, Esther and Chizu, you stayed with us from beginning to end, always pushing us to become a better version of ourselves, and always believing we can do more, and I am forever grateful for that.

Thank you to my parents who always believed in me and supported me through this journey, and came all the way here to see this last show. I love you and wouldn’t be here without you. And my partner Pedro, who has been by my side every day during the education, thank you for always being there for me.

I leave here some of the memories of this time, but there are so many more that is impossible to show it all.

All my love 🧡

Graduate Spotlight: Beatriz Moreno

It is with great pride that we recognize Beatriz Moreno as she concludes her education at Danceworks.

Originally from Salvador, Brazil, Beatriz began her training at the age of two. Four years ago, she demonstrated remarkable courage and dedication by relocating to join our program in Berlin. During her time here, she has evolved from a student of movement into a true artist, mastering the ability to translate rigorous technique into profound meaning.

In her own words:
"Here I learned how to turn ideas into movement, and how to turn technique into meaning. I’m excited about the future and what I will learn next. I’m open to explore new opportunities, and ready to start this new phase of my journey."

Beyond her technical growth, we wish to formally highlight Beatriz’s outstanding performance skills. When paired with her excellent technique and strong commitment throughout her education, she has proven herself to be an honest and remarkable dancer. Her discipline and artistry have left an indelible mark on our community.

We look forward to witnessing the impact Beatriz will undoubtedly make as she enters this next professional chapter. ✨
