I made this for my daughters and my wife.

But I hope this message is relevant for anyone. If I come off too serious or awkward it’s because I know survivors, worked with them, and have seen how quick we are to move on. Safe spaces must be fought for and defended.

I’m not naming anyone, because I want it to hold up for any moment — any space where someone’s conduct makes the room unsafe. The situation will change. What we owe each other won’t.

Believe victims.

I’m a man. Even on my most awkward night at the table, I’m still safe — and that’s nothing next to what the women (and many other people who are targeted) around me have lived through. Building a safe space isn’t passive. It means not letting it slide when it’d be easier to laugh it off. It means checking each other.

And if any of that starts to feel like too much to ask? That’s not the bar being unfair. That’s empathy growing. It’s supposed to stretch a little.

One day my daughters and their cousins are going to ask if they can play. I want to say yes — everyone’s invited, and everyone should feel safe.

okay the Secret Lair Goblin Storm box just showed up and I’ve been staring at it for hours before I get off work and prep dinner and get the kids to bed and my wife some milk and cookies and Widow’s Bay. Then Finally!! 😅

Wizard of Barge is one of my favorite artists in the game right now. the chaos energy. the goblin art are fun, and mischievous. it’s perfect for Krenko whom i consider a fellow dad.

speaking of — these cards are going straight into my Krenko deck. no hesitation. Roaming Throne will be replaced with the new one and joins fellow WOB’s Goblin Lackey & Muxus!

I opened an Assassin’s Creed Universes Beyond box, powered entirely by finally getting to play Black Flag Resynced over the weekend!

Part one: the experience. one (1) Assassin’s Creed hoodie, yes it’s not a Handmaids head covering like @garrett.cummings.9 thought it was, it’s goofy, no regrets. The packs get cracked. thy blessing requested.

Part two: the honest pack math. every card, cost vs value, no hype — just the numbers. i already know how it landed, and it’s a story worth its own video.

Secret Lair Cats with Kimi! We were so excited to get these in the mail that Kimi just started talking about the art, so I hit record.

Not Magic related… but it still felt like A MAGICal Gathering. 🪄

Got to catch a World Cup match with my wife — rooting hard for the Orange Army 🧡, but not gonna lie, the Tunisian energy in the stands was unmatched. And all of it happening right here in our city made it even better.
