This has been one of my favorite things that I have done this summer! I am so beyond grateful to have been able to conduct research at UCLA this summer.

I was able to conduct research on the impacts that the K to 12 educational system has on students who are Latinx and bilingual. It was majorly focused on there developmental levels & language proficiency.

Yesterday I had the honor and privilege to speak on the item D.2 which proposed Tobacco Retail License Ordinance at the Azusa city council meeting 🙌🏽🥹!

I am so grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank Dr. Ruedas and her team for their dedication and support to this cause. I am so grateful for her mentorship and super pleased that she gave me the opportunity to contribute to the first reading of the D.2 proposal.
